I've read in some video in the comment section that Johnny's stunt buddy works kind of the same as gear that gives you the chance to evade special attacks. Like Varan Jacket, Crafstman's pride and maxed Dark Mantle (I believe this one is just broken on ai). So there's a chance that Johnny can't be saved by his stunt buddy if he's facing Black Dragon team with Kabal. I can't confirm yet as I haven't tried it yet, but it's an interesting test. I might try it in the regular tower somewhere.
My team for basically every battle is Mk11 Scorpion, Mk11 Subzero, and depending on modifiers, Mk11 Jade (For D.O.T modifier), Mk11 Kabal (Stun modifiers), or Mk11 Sindel (Mainly for her unblockable chance for Scorpion and Subzero). And typically, Mk11 Jade (enemy) is the bane of my existence, both for her evading and healing from D.O.T, ESPECIALLY when she is paired wih healing modifiers. But with bosses, the team is good, I remove Scorpion if Mk11 Jade is on the boss team though.
I use epic piece that gives block breaker to the entire team. But if you do this strategy well you won't require it since they will be always stunned or frozen. You will only need block breaker to start the stun chain on terminator.
I was finishing 188 or 189, i don't remember, but at the end of victory, and game is like No network conection, i do have internet connection otherwise, i woldn't be able to post this, now after restart, it's the same mesage over and over again are the servers down or what, cause i tried on emulator on diferent account and is the same
Mand, can you kindly show us how to beat battles 184 and 185. I have been stuck for more than a day now at 184, and I seem to have heard plenty that 185 is not much easier... every time a new fatal tower comes out, f2p players like me are always hopelessly stuck in around battle 184 - 186... :(

No, that is not true. The game basically inflicts fear on Johnny, so it would bypass any snare. If you snare the stunt double, it is forced out anyway at the end of the special. Best way to beat Johnny with his doubles is Mk11 Scorpion, as his lethal basics are pretty powerful.
I had problem with lvl 178, I needed a lot of tries and now I stuck on 184. waiting for some easy way they generate power very fast and got some many buffs.
Sad it was a Sellback!! Pretty annoying and I felt the same way. It took me 5 tries, should have been 3 but the reward was Stunt Buddies and MK11 Noob the only Diamond from the rewards that I’ve maxed At least if 8 got joker epic, I would be happy to complete his brutality. It is what it is

Mand , use team mk11 with mk11 liu kang if u have even low fusion , johny cant be dodged for 15 seconds after tag in , see his passive Or use team black dragon with kabal , johny also can’t be dodged
I feel they should nerf the stunt double health to 1/2 or 1/4 of the character's health. Stunt double of an actor looks like him and helps him in movie. It's never equivalent to an actor

This game is a piece of sh*t. The anniversary pack gave me Noob which I already had maxed out. Moreover I agree with you that these gears are only designed to be annoying for bosses or to be annoying in faction wars elder battle 12 onwards - meant only for sharks. I quit this game, coz of these stupid gears.
Mk11 raiden really shines in this tower. Power gen buff on sp2 is op for this tower.
And to for bosses with fujin even at fusion 0

What equipments u use in subzero because scorpion don’t have any block breaker equipment and he is getting it.

Battle 200 modifier Power surge is applied to us as well might be a bug, I was playing mk 11 team and had insane power gen for tagged out teammates.

If you struggle in 184 with that maxed out kollection. Most be almost impossible to beat it.
Injustice 2 Raiden should be very effective for jonny because of his passive that deals damage to another opponent with his combo ender and skills.
