Heya dev here thanks for playing the game. Fyi you sacrifice servants into the briar maze dungeon to raise its power to that of the entrance

you're able to sacrifice units in the briar maze to increase its number so you don't need to place as many mazes.
This game looked interesting at first, but I found it quickly devolves into a mad dash for very limited resources, and the end game is literally just tossing minions into defenses to match the raids. I think if they tweak the pacing a bit and make the different gods actually play different, it would be a banger.

First of all, your rats eat more meat. I saw that in the unit's tab.
Second, the entrances have paths. You've realized too late you don't need to spam mazes all over the place if you know the path :D
I hope those small hints will help you with the next playthrough :D
In case you didn't know/notice:
In civ style games, the cost of opening/buying new tiles increases, the further you get away from your city centre/spawn location.
So you opened a lot of new tiles for the cost of 7 meat while there were closer new tiles for 3 meat available
Nice game and video though and incredible audio design on this game, especially effects and on button clicks
I'm thinking the same thing lol..... open the tiles around the throne room 😅 surely they will have starting tiles.

neat concept! at first i thought you might have been a bit eager to make rats before getting the gold they cost sorted, but you made it work on that last run. inability to read keeping you from leveling up your mazes also made it tricky. but it does seem like itd be pretty hard anyway (which i... kinda like i think?) and im overall impressed

Man I have Shadow and have no concept of how it works at all. It SEEMS really fun and interesting, though.
its so cool that Charborg does a lot of new experimental things with his Chat and i can tell it really excites and motivates him to try different ideas with technology but honestly I haven't been watching streams in a long time because I miss ones like this where he just has fun playing a game and talking about whatever cus he's so funny just by himself! I miss it! But I'm so excited there's been a few lately where he's gone back to that! ❤

The Deadly Path
doesn't feel like it's hard, more that the game is an RNG fest.
I don't see where the RNG fest comes in.. there's not that many different tiles you need to uncover. You need to manage workers and invest resources correctly, that's the real challenge.
