Personally I think the most valuable card in the set is the Mr Mime. First English printing.. I think overall the decks will age well.
The holo pttern on these cards is incredible - such a nostalgia fest.
The orange thing is a burn counter and the purple thing is a poison counter so that you can keep track of a pokemon's statis affects
10:14 That Zapdos did get an English version. It's the SM195 promo holo from the 2018 fall collector chest. You get all 3 legendary bird holo promos, it's a sweet chest! I have a handful of them still that I picked up in 2019 thankfully.

Such an underrated holo pattern
Although I'm not stoked about the price being so much higher than the unarguably superior Japanese version, I still think the English version is a very nice item to collect. Although people have a very negative sentiment regarding this product right now I do not think that will last.

If I buy the "TCG Classic" then I want the original yellow borders. Can't believe they put that horrible Mewtwo from Evolutions instead of base set
Picked two of these up today on a Black Friday sale... This is definitely the most overpriced and potentially pointless Pokemon collectors purchase I have ever made but the holographic cards in this set are absolutely STUNNING.
How much were they on black friday?
My local store had them for 399 CAD. He said the margin was so good at that price he just wanted them out fast.
Does this set include all the first gen base set cards and bugle cards and fossil or is it random ?

Hi, I'm a coin collector and NGC authorised dealer, these are my era pokemenon cards, I'm sure anyone looking at my coin collection must think the money involved is insane, are these really worth around £400? I regularly visit the NGC/CGC office in London with my work and I'm always tempted to start grading cards just for nostalgia and a bit of fun the cards present very nicely in slabs. Please could you recommend some sets that are worth getting.
If enjoy original era might be worth finding vintage singles online and buying those. These are great for the nostalgic trio with modern adaptation but you can find them for less than £400 including our store.
