I went over to France recently, the ferry was leaving at 09-45 in the morning, so I had to get up at 6am. I’d forgotten there are two 7 o’clocks in a day! Before I retired I used to do 4 days on 4 days off shift work, the shift started at 5am and finished at 5pm. To get to work my alarm went off at 03-45 in the morning, I certainly stopped getting up early when I retired.
I feel Kilkeel is not promoted enough. Such a wonderful place & the people so friendly.
Such sweet presents and subscribers 🤩😍🍀😍
Head up don’t forget to change your sat nav when you’re in the republic 👍
The village next to ours Muff are opening the new Muff distillery on Tuesday , look up Muff Gin
Also welcome to Northern Ireland. We are a friendly bunch to visitors. Its just each other we usually fight with. The lough (Lough Neagh) is pronounced Lock Ney, it is the largest lake in the UK and Ireland.
Brilliant video guys! Just to let you know my dad's mum was born in Downpatrick near Belfast (I think). She was born in 1895 and I believe she moved to Scotland in 1901. I think my grandad moved about the same time but I need to do some more research. They were both very young children at the time. My mum and her family were from Kilmanagh, County Kilkenny, which is over the border, and mum cane to London in the early 1950's to do her nursing. My dad was in the Merchant Navy and docked in London at St. Katherine's Docks. Not too sure where they both met but they lived in the East End of London for several years until my dad got a job with BOC down in Essex, where they both remained for the rest of their lives. Ooh! I'm rambling! Well, I'm really looking forward to the rest of your Irish videos! Enjoy yourselves and safe travels! Slainte! 🙋🙂👍🏴🇮🇪🙏
The nicest area of NI is the North Antrim coast, there's no denying that (and we live in NI), and the Causeway coastal route there takes in so many sights worth seeing including Downhill Strand, and Downhill Demesne above it which has the iconic Mussenden Temple (seen in every tourist ad for NI). The nearby Gortmore viewpoint and Irish god statue are worth checking out too (although you'd need to check the van can go up there). Then there's Portstewart, Portrush, the Whiterocks, Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge (Larrybane to the left of there is beautiful too), White Park Bay (stunning), Ballintoy harbour (featured on Game of Thrones), Kinbane Castle (even many locals haven't been there), Ballycastle (see the friary outside the town too) and more. All of these things are only a few miles apart as well.
There's hundreds of vanlife vlogs on CZcams. However, I only watch a few, and you're one of my favourite ones ❤
Me too. Those Happy dayz and Van life goodies . But these 2 are my favourite ones because there are normal down-to-earth people like myself.🤔(Teesside) 🏴
awww thank you huni

9:16 they’re called an oyster pickers, they’ve got a long beak which is used to break into the oyster 🦪 shells but these birds love earth worms 🪱 and you will find them on grassy areas drumming their feet on the ground (imitating rainfall) and picking out the worms 🪱.
Love this guys, my home village not all that far away. My dad spent his youth visiting Belfast via Ferry and mum & dad also had their Honeymoon in Belfast. I would love to visit one day.
Ohhhh me too❤
Can highly recommend Clifden in Galway. Lovely little town plus lots of history. Check out the Marconi and Alcock and Brown connection. And if that's not enough, there's the Sky Road scenic drive...definitely worth a stop over. Oh, and there was a Chinese last time we were there 😅 Loving your vlogs xx

There's a shopping complex as you head back from Antrim . It's called junction one. There's fast food shops and an Asda all in the same area. Have a lovely time while in Northern Ireland
You sound really excited with being in Ireland, my birth father's homeland is in Belfast, definitely on my bucket list to visit and hopefully his resting place with his mammy and daddy 😊

You need to go to a jewellers and buy some jewellers rouge to polish the scratches off the windscreen.
Wish we could have heard ya'lls talk at van fest. Goid on you two!
Mark’s still bang on trend with those Crocs :)
Lisa you’re going to need a bigger van if you keep buying stuff. Or insulate it even more. 😂
@@OnTheRoadAgain-NikkiandBilly can’t beat to much insulation that what i say im just getting the van ready for winter 🤣🤣🤣🤣
To the two of you 🤗🐾🐾🐕🐕🚐🚐🚗🏴🏴🏴❤️

For 16 years I flew to Belfast from Leeds Bradford airport on business for three days at a time. It is a fantastic place, very friendly and easy to get around. I had time to drive around and some great places, coastal road take 3 days to do, Armagh, Omagh, Bainbridge, Antrim and many others. Enjoy its brilliant.
Enjoy your trip to N. Ireland my home country. Causeway coastal road is a great journey.
Welcome to N.I. if you have no set plan as you travel towards Southern Ireland give Co Fermanagh a call, the county town, Enniskillen is the only island town in Ireland. There is lots to see in the county, abandoned castles, lakes, scenic view points, islands with artifacts from 1k years ago and loads of bars and restaurants not to mention all the usual stores.
Lisa could chiccos belly upset be from beach maybe did he swallow any water (little love) 🐕🐾❤️❤️
I would love to see some pub stops in the uk
We are enjoying all your blogs keep em coming guys xx
Well fired breakfast rolls are lush Mark ;)
Thanks for sharing my dad came from Omagh County Tyrone Northern Ireland. Not been for years
We are in Southern Ireland at the moment . We highly recommend a stop over at Johnnie Foxes pub near Dublin . It’s a must and they let you stay over . It is very unique.

Hi there, if you have time I would thoroughly recommend Wicklow. You can get there straight down the M1 and there are so many places to visit. Maybe Glendalough? Lots of other places too. And I pronounce it Lough (Lock) Neagh (Neigh - like the sound a horse makes) Welcome and hope you have an excellent time.
We're off fromorrow from Lochboisdale st 5:50 am (Sat) after a delay from last thursday due to weather❤. Still dogs needing gentle crossing. Fingers crossed🤞
Great vlog guys, use to live in Northern Ireland many years ago in London Derry/ Derry and loved it there. Use to go to port rush and Belfast and many other places too xx
Achile island is the most westerly point of the uk and beautiful. Enjoy x
Yes there's a nice beach there but they don't let dogs on it
Achill Island is not in the UK, it's the ROI.
Oh yes sorry. But if ever you get the chance it’s worth the drive
Lovely video really enjoyed it.x

Great to see you in Ireland. I I like to see the Causeway look it up and also what they say is kiss the Blarney stone which you can actually kiss his particular stone. I’ve never seen it but I have heard of it. I’m not sure if this is true or not. Thanks again for us around Ireland.

Brilliant Blog, Thankyou. Love following you Guy's so interesting places. Janet Kelly North Wales.
Our pleasure!
Hiya Lisa and Mark you have to have a full irish breakfast with wightpudding.
If you are taking Chicco near bodies of water, be wary, there is currently an issue with something called Blue Green Algae, which is fatal to dogs. Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs website tries to keep updated info on current locations where it has been spotted.
YES my dog was as sick as anything after !!
Love you two, so honest. We have a dog like Chico, male and dislikes some dogs and sounds off big style. He goes “to bed” too when unsociable!! He hates Boxers, Frenchies and anything with a squished nose - very embarrassing but loves everything else!
