That's a big city darlings, there are a ton of fields all over Ohio. I live near Dayton in a suburb, my home town is 5-10 minutes from fields in any direction. I've also been to Cincinnati, and Columbus driving there you have to pass a lot of fields. Until you reach a certain part of a highway. Im so conflicted, because I love most of the accurate things you said, but saying we do have a bunch of fields is just false. :/

I live in southwest Ohio and there are cornfields literally everywhere, like they don't stop it's just a huge cornfield. Also the cows aren't in the road, they're off of the road bc theyres usually a fence or a drain that they won't cross. There are tractors that take up the road and drive about .5 miles an hour though.

In my part of the great state of Ohio, there are corn/soybean fields everywhere. It is not unusual to have to wait for a herd of cows to clear an intersection before you could proceed on your way. Not to mention a traffic jam consists of driving slowly behind the local farmers who are driving their tractors to various fields.
