This is my 8bit inspired chiptune cover of the famous meme, "Mr. Trololo". I spent about 8 hours making the song from scratch with a music making program called musagi. The pixellated video was also made by me. I hope you enjoy my chiptune version :)

A great cover version of a song must not only be clever and original, but it must also show some real love for the original. This is one of those covers.
8-bit-esque covers are often coarse, crude, and annoying. This is delicate and delightful. The portamenti and glissandi are fun and happy without being overwhelming.

The original was already great but the way you made the base chorus rise up at 1:33 feels amazing!

It's a fangame on MFGG known as "Typical Mario Game" that has a segment involving said zombie Nazi boss. I got so tired of his cheap hit detection and teleporting ability that I hacked the save file to unlock the next level. When I started the game back up, this music played with a Troll-faced cheep-cheep.
