Honestly Shinee is still one of the best kpop groups in my opinion. they’re so real and their music is amazing

I’ve noticed in this interview:
Minho is like the tree, the stability and calmness.
Key is the spice and kick in the group who is a box of surprises
Onew has grown very wise these days and has deep thoughts. He is very thoughtful and has an admirable conscious.
Taemin is truly the maknae. He is the only maknae that reeeally fits this image. He has natural cuteness but also seems very dependable. Something very random about him but it’s endearing
That's why Taemin is forever the kpop maknae. Not only Shawol buy many others always look at him as lil brother

I didn't know abt Shinee, N even I didn't know abt kim Jonghyun long 8 months before from now. I was randomly search about K-pop of S.Korea just couple of days ago, N then I was found Jonghyun as a popular member of the Shinee for the very first time. Among 5 members of the Shinee I only gone with kim jonghyun as I felt some goodness abt him after watching some consert clip, some funny moments of him n listening some songs of his awesome voice. Still then I didn't know the saddest thing abt Jonghyun. Suddenly I came across the most painful news clip on YOU TUBE about Jonghyun that he's no more on earth. Believe me, it was so much painful for me, I don't know why? But l hv seen his chearful smiling, so nice interection with others members of the Shinee, intelligence of behavior with his die heart fans. Filling no annoying either with media nor with his huge fan. That would be the only reason it painnig me a lot.
U 4 guys nothing could do for depressed poor Jonghyun.

Shinee IMO is super important as they have been relevant since debut, which now a days is really hard for idols because of competition and the mainstream music they put out but Shinee has always found a way with and without Jonggie, I am so proud of my boys and I know Jonghyun is too to know they keep going forward.

The interviewer did a good job at setting the tone -- it was relaxed and they seemed a bit more open. I found it moving when Taemin talked about how singing Our Page for the first time before an audience was special because all the "energy" -- love and concern -- the fans were giving them as they faced singing this tribute to Jonghyun. It made me realize that their connection to their fans is a two-way street and they truly get strength from the love sent their way. I found that very touching.
When the interviewer asked Key about his preferable nickname in 7:24 and Taemin innocently suggested monKEY in the background lol I can't
When Taemin suddenly said the food was spicy was the cutest thing I've ever seen 😭😭😭😭😭 and the way Key's face lit up when he was asked to sort the members. Jinki's version of Move was too cute 😂 and I very much enjoyed Minho's experience about Taemin's ramen.

Stacy - This is one of the best, if not THE best, interview I've ever seen the boys do. You actually made them comfortable and didn't ask them questions they've heard a thousand times before (and we've heard them answer 1000 times). You were able to do this because you're clearly a Shawol, and I'm sure they couldn't help but know it as you knew so much about them. I think that is what helped them relax and enjoy -- how cool for them to get to reminisce/explain about different things they've done/different times in their careers with pointed questions that showed real interest in them personally. For them, I bet it was like talking to a sincere fan, but not a crazy, "star struck" girl. :) Rather than the usually carefully crafted questions and answers which leads to stiff and dry interviews, their conversing was carefree and fun and sincere, showing their beautiful, deep friendship. I think you got the "real" SHINee. Great job!

After SHINee I think EXO is one of the strongest groups out there with a strong fandom as well, I don't think they will just suddenly disappear, I'm sure EXO will be around for a long time, no matter if they lose or gain a few members here and there, EXO as a whole is very strong, don't worry too much, us Shawols will be cheering on you exols and EXO to keep going, the talent can't be wasted anyway. 💪

A year and so after this interview, Taemin did went to America and conquered BillBoard Charts with SuperM. You did it baby cheese. And now, you swept US and World Itunes and smashed numbers from your masterpiece comeback, Criminal. We are so proud of you.
And come February of 2021, they released their new album with the title track "Don't Call Me".

I've just crawled from under a rock and discovered these guys for the first time a few months ago thanks to boredom and Netflix. I came across a drama with Shinee's Minho. I decided to go see what Shinee was. OMG! I love them. I am so grateful to youtube and everyone who post these amazing videos. I'm just getting to know these guys and I love all five. I think they are hilarious and look genuine. They now have another fan and yes I am letting all my friends know about these guys whether they want to or not!

I agree with Onew, the meaning of life is finding happiness and doing things that you love. Sadly tho, somehow sometimes we don't have the privilege to choose these things due to different reasons, and we just tend to do what's right in front of us whether we like it or not.
Nobody Special 2.0. The secret I guess is to find joy in even the things you don't want to do, but have to. Happiness is really kind of a choice. It can be hard sometimes, but finding even those simple things can be the key to being happy. (No pun intended)

Yea but even Onew said it in a way that when you are presented with options, choose the one that will give you happiness.
Sometimes it is hard to see it in a way where u kind of limited. But the way he says it also does not necessarily mean you should just do what makes u happy. But out of the options you have, choose one that makes you happiest. And start with that to broaden your perspective.
I honestly was touched hearing bits about what they would say to their past with the knowledge they do have now.
I also agree that focusing on doing what you love whenever possible is very important because many times it's alright to do so, we have rights to do that but don't realize and get too overwhelmed by other things or other's opinions.

Did y'all notice that before this during broadcast whenever tjey are asked about the lyrics, the song meaning, etc they always answered with the randomest things.
This interview makes me fall in love to the deepest level to them.The small gesture they make that shouts how they really love each other...how they look at each other,how very well they know each other (Onew/Taemin and Key/Onew especially)...how they react with each other...I just watched their faces while talking and I'm just like "oh my gosh I stan the right group,Im so proud of my rightest decision ever..." ...I just love them...they are really pure...so proud of them...they have my unconditional and never-ending support,love...and most of all,respect...SHINee fighting! =) ♥♥♥
mhel mhel agreed wholeheartedly. They have come a Long way, their bonds are very strong as shown in video clips during the recent Japan fans meet and SMtown performances. Every little gestures they did showed their love and care for each other. It’s a brotherly love they developed over 10+years. Onew is great leader and very humble. I really enjoyed this interview. They seemed so relaxed and spoke freely and comfortably I think. The flow and content was enjoyable and made the time fly.
