This interview is fascinating - I came here to find out more about her father, a genius, but she is much more than "the daughter of someone famous" - she is so aware, perceptive and eloquent... definitely her own person...

Agreed. I am so impressed with Marina's humility, eloquence, and introspection.

Yes, you can tell Dr. Whitman also possesses a high emotional intelligence, in addition to having a PhD and being on the faculty at the Univ of Michigan Ross School of Business!!!

Wonder if she ever made those letters public... what a fascinating read that would be. Doesn't look like James has responded here in a while.

The interview was great, and with the background books including one by Lorca. The daughter has also stood out as a lecturer and writing articles on economic and scientific policy in favor of public investment.🌌🌌🌌 🤣🤣🤣📝👨‍💻👩‍💻👨‍💻👩‍💻🌌🌌🌌

Thank you, Dr. Whitman, for doing this interview. John von Neumann is arguably the brightest person who ever lived. And deeply spiritual. If Johnny said there is a good probablility of god, that's enough of a reason for me. On your father's birthday, treat yourself to chicken paprikash and a good slice of dobos torte.

Neumann János fantasztikus ember volt az biztos. Nem sokan örökölték a tehetségét. Kár, hogy a családja nem ápolja a megmaradt dolgokat és azokat rendszerezve publikálja. Jó lenne. Kötelesség lenne.

Of course that there is no such magical thing as a "free-from-causality" type of will in humans, and that rationality is the application of logic to sensory data.

Sir to put a comment such as yours on a video such as this is to put a big "I am not a sharp intellect" label on yourself, and I hope you do not do this in your real life, since it will severely hurt your chances to reach a desirable point of life.
