    From the Airport - This is very easy and cost effective, get the S1 train from the Airport to the City, the central station is only a 25 min journey. Follow the S1 signs in the Airport.

    Where we stayed - at a cool little place, which was quiet, comfortable with a friendly host and short walking distance to the trendy district of Ottensen with many bars, restaurants, shops, weekly market, shopping mall, theater, cinema, culture factory, etc

    Next time try Holsten Edel beer and also Bauernfrühstück at Schweinske restaurant chain! I can also recommend Daniel Wischer seafood restaurant ( the fish cake and potato salad). Nordsee seafood restaurant chain is also excellent! Franzbrötchen is a famous cinnamon roll that is associated with Hamburg! I could go on and on! I was actually born in Altona! It was nice seeing you stay in Ottensen! Try also Övelgönne by the River Elbe and Eppendorf ( really nice district in Hamburg)
