Screw it. I like Jim and Barbara together! These scenes are tons better than that dull relationship he had with Lee. He wasn't even getting along with Lee BEFORE he went to prison. All they did was argue.
At this point, I can't see Barbara or Lee. In this episode, which was over a year ago, Barbara had just got out of Arkham and I thought the writers were going to keep her sane. But they just kept her nutty and I honestly dislike the new Barbara. I lost hope going into Season 3, but I can't see Lee either given what she just did to Jim with the virus. So I dn't know who Gordon ends up with. And I sure as hell don't know why he'd name his daughter after Barbara!
Really? Because I love Jim and Lee together. I mean Barbara is interesting and I liked her Season 1, but I don't know if I can ever see those two back together again, because especially in Seasons 2 and 3, there were many issues.
I hate this how Jim always acted as he had never loved Barbara or had any feelings for her ever .... Barbara and Gordan had such a sizzling chemistry unlike that boring aged Lee . Her chemistry with jim was also like her boring nothing.
Finally she is back! I like a lot Barbara!

Now that gave me an instant headache. Any supposedly sane version of Barbara is a painful flashback PTSD style to the still not sane, but boring waste of time albatross last year. Infinitely better to have her go away and ride the crazy train. Zero chemistry and falls flat, unlike Ben/Morena-JIm/Lee. Time to find their way back together pre-finale.
+popcorn888 well the actress playing probably Lee was pregnant in real life (well just had the baby now last month i believe). so probably the writers did that so that she can take some rest from her real life situation (the part where Lee went to another place to live outside of Gotham)
+Katherine Black I know, but thanks for the 411 for those who didn't. The writers had also planned on having Lee pregnant before MB was. Scenes can be filmed out of sequence for future use and there's always at least the phone reconnect instead of disconnect. What can I say, not a fan of any Jim/Babs that isn't contentious. I hate to see him either dumbed down when he shouldn't trust her at all, or lazy writing for obvious plots. Fingers crossed. IMHO, she was never sane, stable or monogamous. He deserves way better- and saner! Also, Babs not over the top crazy was/is a drain of time and energy, but just my POV.

This is turning into a freaking soap opera. Do they really expect the audience to simply accept Barbara again, after all she's done, and to believe Jim would too? They just dropped the Lee story arc like a rock. I'm getting sick of this show.
