Budokai Tenkaichi also has some great What if Like : What if Bardock actually won against Freezer ? What if Every majors villain decides to ally against the Z team, with a good plan ? (splitting them apart/ambush, overwhelm opposant with number, etc) What if either Frieza/the androids/buu won ? What if the saiyan riot was successful ?

It happens during the GT, Pilaf decides to revive all Goku's foes instead of making him younger and they unite together for a revenge. The cool part is that they also wish to unleash their potential, so you can see something like Raditz beating Goku, and the bad part is the ending.
Imagine being Piccolo and asking Goku to fight, thinking it'll just be a friendly, albeit serious sparring match, and then he fucking tries to Spirit Bomb you

the what if sagas on the dbz games were always so fun and entertaining. I remeberd in one of the games ( I think it was budokai 1) when cell accidentally absorbed krillin. lol
One thing that annoys me in this game is Goku changing how he pronounces Kaioken. On that note this is the best of pre Kai cast. Had everyone sounded as good and the dialogue accurate back during the series it would have aged much better.
I know it is just a game but man in this what if story we never saw super saiyan 3 goku vs mystic gohan real shame too since this game has buuhan. The idea they will always train together even when it is peaceful is great tho
They switched which Goku you were using mid fight. From the Saiyan Saga one to the Buu Saga one. By the time Goku reached Super Saiyan 2, he knew a better version of the sprit bomb than the small one that he actually fires like a KI blast.
what-if scenarios in console games: what if goku fought krillen, then picollo, then gohan, then vegeta? what-if scenarios in supersonic warriors 2: what if ginyu beat the shit out of broly? what if hercule did to broly what he did to buu? what if buu decided to seal himself away? this is why supersonic warriors 2 is one of my favourite DB games - the what-if scenarios tend to actually tell very different stories.

In dbz gohan was definitely stronger than vegeta, but in battle of the gods (which IS canon) gohan got knocked the fuck out easily while vegeta (before bulma got slapped) went toe to toe with bills and you could even see them fighting FTL behind whiss while he was eating sushi, even when bills knocked him down he said "your fighting sense is incredible prince vegeta you just lack the power" and then when he raged he went a good 20 seconds smacking the crap out of bills lord bills even bled a bit from the mouth it is just that he wasn't that effected cause ki doesn't work on gods. At the end of the movie bills even said "in the distant future goku and vegeta could be a real threat" vegeta has a crap ton of untapped potential which is shown whenever he fights for someone else other than himself, making it apparent that vegeta is only second to goku
Why did they give you early Goku if this was supposedly after the defeat of Kid Buu? Shouldn't they give you end Goku instead? Maybe it's just so you can't transform in the fight and keep to the "storyline"
