I remember hearing this song back in 93. Terry McMillian played the Harmonica in the song at the studio. On February 2, 2007 God wanted Terry 2 go 2 Heaven. So God took Terry 2 Heaven. Terry's pain free, sorrow free, suffering free and he's all better and all new. "See U again someday Terry in Heaven".
Six o'clock on Friday evening. Momma doesn't know she's leaving 'Til she hears the screen door slamming, Rubber squealin', gears a-jamming. Local country station just a-blaring on the radio. Pick him up at seven and they're headin' to the rodeo. Momma's on the front porch screamin' out her warning, "Girl, you better get your red head Back in bed before the morning!" Nine o'clock the show is ending, But the fun is just beginning. She knows he's anticipating, But she's gonna keep him waiting. Grab a bite to eat and then they're heading to the honkey tonk, But loud crowds and line dancing just ain't what they really want. Drive out to the boondocks and park down by the creek. And where it's George Strait 'til real late, And dancing cheek to cheek. Ain't going down 'til the sun comes up. Ain't givin' in 'til they get enough. Going 'round the world in a pick-up truck. Ain't goin' down 'til the sun comes up. Ten 'til twelve is wine and dancing. Midnight starts the hard romancing. One o'clock that truck is rocking. Two is coming, still no stopping. Break to check the clock at three. They're right on where they wanna be. Four o'clock get up and going. Five o'clock that rooster's crowing. Ain't going down 'til the sun comes up. Ain't givin' in 'til they get enough. Going 'round the world in a pick-up truck. Ain't goin' down 'til the sun comes up. Six o'clock on Saturday. Her folks don't know he's on his way. The stalls are clean, the horses fed. They say she's grounded 'til she's dead. But here he comes around the bend, Slowing down. She's jumping in. Hey, mom, you're daughter's gone! And there they go again. Ain't going down 'til the sun comes up. Ain't givin' in 'til they get enough. Going 'round the world in a pick-up truck. Ain't goin' down 'til the sun comes up.
I actually give this song so much credit for me wanting to become a harmonica player and this is also the song I always perform with vocals and harp. Terry McMillan (the harmonica player) absolutely carried this song and I have him to thank for making me the musician that I am today. Rest in power, Wild Child.

Oh my god i been looking for the original tune song from this best music artist plus it brings up good memories In January 2021 when i was at a car wash waiting patiently for my mom’s car turn to go through with the ultimate wash at a bp gas station while during there is a car in there that has got the ultimate wash plus my formal pervious dog name Giggs was with my mom with me and he definitely really enjoy it
I don't know why, but you just can't beat the wild nature and uniqueness of Terry McMillan's harmonica playing. I think it's because he did those licks all on the spot that's it hard for somebody to imitate it exactly.
Did anybody have problems keeping up with this song growing up? ‘Cause I know I did. There’s like a thousand words in it and I barely kept up when I was a kid.
Oh my gosh the ACTUAL RECORDING! Thank you!!!!!!
Do NOT jinx it. Don't let it get pulled...

The harmonica solo at 3:39 gives me the chills every time, I wonder why it isn't in other versions
