  • In less than seventy years, Genghis Khaan and his Mongol hordes created the largest land empire in recorded history. How were they able to achieve such military dominance? And what ultimately became of the great Empire of the Khaans? To find out, Josh builds a ger on the Mongolian steppe, fires arrows from horseback like a Mongolian warrior.

Another video says that the Mongolian bow can shoot 500 yards. That's mighty impressive & no doubt it must have taken quite a lot of strength to draw such a bow. But perhaps technique plas an equal part?

Mongolians may built Karakorum mostly for foreign ambassadors and visitors someways,I guess, because they can't live in ger and mongols wouldn't stay in building, how about that?even Great Khaan himself spent his whole life in a bit of bigger ger than others anywhere and anytime,

The Mongols are desdents of Central Asia Slavs and Siberian germans, cozack poles and the Russians and theGeorgians. Not the Asian Russians or the north Chinese.
