    Yeah I always loved how wild this performance got by the end, it makes me wonder how many times Axl actually fell into or jumped into the audience throughout the years. This band was just pure high octane rock n' roll energy.

    • @RUBFigs
      @RUBFigs  Před 3 lety +2

      Incredible huh? There's surely no way this was a one off occurrence! What a crazy band in a live environment! I must've been living under a rock to have never seen more of their live stuff in the past 🤘

      @@RUBFigs I know there was that one very famous incident where Axl jumped into the crowd in St Louis, helping to spark a riot. Plus I've seen other video clips of him diving into the crowd, I just don't know where those happened.

      What a crazy human being 🤣 In a good way of course. Thanks for the info! Axl sure is a one-off performer ☝

      Axl would fight his own audience in a minute😁
      And Whose brilliant idea was it To put them on tour with Metallica?? I knew that was going to be a disaster and I wasn't even a fan back then. It would have been less of a debacle with Motley Crue and Metallica could not stand Motley Crue! But it would have been better than dealing with Axl roses 19th nervous breakdown! Even he admitted he should not have been on that damn tour🥴

      @@mztweety1374 I agree that GnR and Metallica should not have toured together. They were very different bands with different sounds and energies. As for Axl, he was the same live-wire wild-card in 1992 that he was in 1986, by what I've heard. A profitable but often destructive brand of chaos.

    This performance always hit me . They always maked amazing performances but this is my favourite of this song because the whole live to the Ritz is really legendary and incredible. So wild, intense, full of energy, all them at their better. Axl as always gives all his self.....amazing unique rock band.....the greatest in rock music

    There are SOOOO many amazing performances! I second everything everyone’s requested in other comments. A few more: Mr. Brownstone and Out Ta Get Me at this show, Welcome to the Jungle at the 1988 VMAs, November Rain Tokyo, You’re Crazy and Used To Love Her Acoustic Live on Fox’s Late Show 1988. Oh, and Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock n Roll) live in Saskatoon. Cant wait!

      What??? MORE WILD??? 😱 Insane to imagine him being crazier than he was here! Without a doubt gonna have to check out more of their live stuff. Man, can only imagine what Knocking On Heaven's Door must've been like at the Freddie Tribute 😢 Thank you very much for the suggestions. Will make sure these reactions happen 🙏

      The tour ended in 1993 but Slash and Duff didn't leave the band until 1996 and '97. But since they didn't really get much done after 1993, yeah, it was almost like they were already broken up.

    I posted this in quite a few reation GNR live at the Ritz performances for you guys. I know it's crasy to see and it is but GNR at the time as of this performance were becomming PRO, they LIVED above the Ritz as it was a hollywood bar and GNR hd insane parties there but they also preformed thoughout the city. It was MTV that asked GNR's manegent team if the could film them and put them up on MTV right away, a total break through as in thoise times phones or internet wasn't like it is today. Even though GNR struggled with in house fame and semi fortune this performance at the RITZ will be the LAST time any concert go'ers will be this close. Even then the house band GNR were performing to their long time fans you can see through out their performance that it become over whelming. GNR at the Ritz in a full concert viewing will be the last time you'll ever see their real fans get that close. Truely epic concert.

    There the end of the Video Axl trip and feel in to the Crowd and Slash didn't even see that because he was playing a Solo and if remember he also tried to hit a fan who tried grabbing his gutair during the show.
