The scene of the mother said "thread" don't decide your destiny, just after said that thread tied to your destiny in the training scene. Also, if is so easy for her accept that Osha can go forever, why think in kill the jedi for a moment or attack the padawan? Also, if the Jedi need their permission for test kid, why don't refuse?

Not a Star Wars fan havnt watched this but can’t believe you can’t make money out of something with a huge established fan base. It’s either deliberate sabotage or piss poor management 🤣
There's definitely poor management, but I think it's less sabotage and more a group of entitled, often spoiled, individuals who saw an opening and took it. Entitlement, power and money. The downfall of most beloved IP's.
