KURSEONG | KEURSEONG TRAVEL GUIDE
Hello everyone welcome to our last episode of Darjeeling Travel Vlog series. In this part we went to Kurseong, the 'Land of White Orchids'. Kurseong is a hill station located close to Darjeeling famous for its waterfalls, temples and Buddhist gompas apart from the excellent view that the place provides.
On our first day we went to Kurseong from Tabakoshi via Dudhia bridge 🌉🌉. In this route we have see the beautiful view from the Mirik view point. After going for about 4 hours we reached Eden La Homestay in Kurseong. We have decided to spent the rest of the day in leisure.

This day our plan was to check out from the Homestay and and then visit all the sightseeing spots in Kurseong and finally coming back to NJP to catch train to home
1️⃣ First we went to Chimney, a picturesque village near Darjeeling, the name of the village derived from 100 years old chimney, which was built by British at time of WWI (World Word I). The chimney is 24 ft. in height and most point of attraction among travelers.
2️⃣ Next we went to Dowhill School, which was establish in 1879 by Sir Ashley Eden, the then Lieutenant Governor of Bengal. He wanted to start a Government School for boys and girls of Government servants belonging to the middle and low income group, who could ill afford to send their children to the hill schools.
3️⃣ Next we went to Hanuman Point. The statue stands 40 feet high, set amidst the beautiful Gauri Shankar tea garden under Castleton Tea Company in the Naya Busty area.
4️⃣ Next we went to Netaji Museum. This was once a temporary residence of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the museum is located in Netaji's elder brother's residence. It has pictures, documents and articles related to Netaji during his house imprisonment by the British.
5️⃣ Next we went to Eangle's Crag, which is an iconic landmark of Kurseong and a peaceful spot to enjoy the peaceful ambience and cool mountain breeze. It is visited by both locals and tourists alike. Nestled amidst the serene hills of Kurseong, the location of Eagle's Crag is simply breathtaking.
6️⃣ Finally we went to Makaibari Tea Estate, but unfortunately it was closed.

Very hard to decide. Darjeeling has more popular tourist spots where Kurseong is still not so comercialized

আমরা ৫ জন বন্ধুরা মিলে কর্শিয়াং যাবো বলে ঠিক করেছি, ৩ দিন, ২ রাত্রি।
৫ জনের মোট খরচ কিরকম হতে পারে?

দেখুন অনেকটা নির্ভর করবে আপনারা কোথায় থাকছেন তার ওপর।
আমার মত homestay তে থাকলে প্রতিদিন থাকা খাওয়া ১৫০০ টাকা
আর কার্শিয়াং ঘুরে NJP drop নিয়ে আমার ছোটো গাড়িতে লেগেছিল ৪০০০, বড়ো গাড়ি হলে ওই ৫০০০ মত।
তবে কর্শিয়াং এ একরাত থাকলেই হবে। মানে প্রথম দিন পৌঁছালেন পরের দিন check out করে ঘুরতে ঘুরতে NJP. সেক্ষেত্রে হাতে একদিন বেশি থাকবে। অন্য কোনো জায়গা exolore করতে পারবেন
