The 355GTS is one of my all-time favorite Ferrari's. Right up there with the 92 512TR, 288GTO, F50, 16M, 599GTO, 575Super America.
I think you are confused about the belt in the tool kit, that is not a timing belt! The belt with the tool kit is an accessory drive belt and you do not need to remove the engine to replace it
I can't do this. I know you guys are great. I stopped following Petrolicious for the same reason. Watches, sunglasses, cologne, style, expensive driving gloves, and trailer queens under glass in some rich dude's bedroom. I'd rather watch a guy carefully restore a junker in a garage than listen to people opine about rich people's cap feathers. But you all have plenty of subscribers, so I'm confident I'm not hurting anyone by leaving. For this segment of viewers, you folks do an excellent job. I just can't take the preciousness anymore.
It’s okay to dream sometimes. Sometimes hard to stomach the excess when life is tough for most of us. Hang in there and keep dreaming and succeeding to meet those dreams. Use it as Inspiration.
@@Nylonscheme I appreciate it. But for me it's not excess. I love Koenigsegg's work. It's the style over substance that gets me. I've build engines, cars, etc. For me, cars are the focus. I know everyone likes different things. What bothers me is when the boat is close to capsizing with style over the love of cars. I mean a person has to have the watch - the cologne - the gloves right? Then put it all in a glass case - in a museum.
I don't normally chime in, but I have to say I agree with you. I think Mr JWW is the best British car vlogger out there, and his success reflects that. The rest are largely the whoops-I've-got-a-lot-of-money-watch me-spend-it brigade, and that's rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way these days. James' along-for-the-ride stance works very well, but even so. The irony is that the more successful he gets, and the more rolling stock he acquires, the more unrelatable he becomes. I hope you find the guy carefully restoring a junker soon! All the best.

@@roogrey I agree. He's very good and not like the others. I guess I'm complaining about that whole floofy car world of high end stuffs. Like if I had a Ferrari, drove it 50K miles, and it had a scratch, I couldn't be part of the festivities. Heh.
James that cracked vacuum pipe could be predictive of many of the hoses on the car. The resto-mod project should really address those issues. I used to work on storage and livery of military equipment things inevitably deteriorate when not being used.
It will be an interesting journey!

@@andrewrae50 with that size, height and weight it wont, in fact can't handle well and the brakes won't cope with fast driving.
But with 1000bhp it will still be stupidly quick yet won't turn or stop like regular fast cars.
Hence its an accident waiting to happen.
Oh and Andrew if you cant or won't see that then the really dumb thing is what looks back at you in the mirror.

actually I'm almost sad to see that great condition f355 going for resto, but the other way I quite like f355 resto mod idea, it's a great platform and there are some quite good solutions for that car, so as much as I'm sad so I'm excited as well :)) can't wait to see the final result
If I were to realize my dream of moving to the swedish mountains; that Hennessey would be a great daily driver. A winch mounted on the front and you'd be good to go.

I agree about the GTS being the sweet spot. It's the best of both worlds in comparison to the coupe and the spyder. More structural rigidity than the spyder, but still a convertible of sorts, like a targa I guess.
Curious about how many vehicles Hennessey actually sells in a year.

In America they sell thousands in the uk probably about 2
actually they don't sell any, but on American continent they probably build or modify/upgrade I'd say 500year north America and 20year south incl Mexico.

They dont sell anything except the f5 when it releases, and the venom gt's back when they modified those. The trucks shown are r&d vehicles with "upgarde packages" for whatever vehicle you own and want to upgrade to. So youd send them your trx, theyd put the mammoth package on it, and send it back to you in this instance. Or camaro zl1 and theyd add the exorcist package.
1:58 I swear I didn't understand what were they saying was a car lol. I have a vision condition that sometimes it takes seconds to adapt to a 3D image ( if the angle is "accuard"). "Front Locking Wheels" I think you mean Line Lock which allows you to lock the front wheels so you can Heat Up the Rear tires before a Run.

The valve will not activate at a stand still. Only when under load on the road at around 4k revs. But yes that vacuum pipe was the problem. Great car by the way🤗

The lights in the hood scoop are a legality issue. When a vehicle is over a certain width, it needs the 3 lights in the center of the vehicle

The rest of the world can manage with normal sized vehicles and superior trucks just fine.
It’s ok to say it, say yes we accept it’s pointless and superfluous to your needs BUT you like it, and that’s ok,
But any argument about needing a 10” lift or 1000hp in a truck, or flashing under glow and light up wheels is ridiculous.
My good buddy hauls his family and bikes around Montana in a perfectly sensible ford ranger.
