- Hi y'all and welcome back!! We have been wanting to find a bookshelf for MONTHS and we finally find one on this dive! We're so excited/thankful/stoked to have found such a unique and cool one - and that it fits exactly where we hoped it would is just the cherry on top! Thank you, dumpsters!!!

AHHH we have waited and waited, knowing we would eventually find a bookshelf for free in the trash... and TODAY WAS THE DAY!!! We are so thankful and excited to have found such a unique piece and can't wait for y'all to see it all stocked with books! Thank you for watching and happy diving!

That’s an amazing bookshelf! Great finds! Don’t forget to save a cubby for Bones at the bottom. That would be so cute.
IKEA sells cubby inserts that are little cat beds with a pad to put inside of. It would probably work with that bookshelf

Back in the 1950's in Glendale, CA, we would go for walks after dinner. On garbage night people would put the coolest stuff out in the trash. My parents found a really cool bookshelf with a cupboard at the bottom. They had it for years. It was fun diving back then too!

The bookshelf is perfect! Love that you left the little plaque on it, keeps it's uniqueness! On that little Xmas door mat, just trim with scissors the chewed part and trim the exact same on the other side, and VOILA! It now matches! Lol
I agree! The bookshelf was worth the wait for something so original, and to fit that space to a “T”…The universe listens. U just have to specify ur needs. 👍🙏🏼👍

Absolutely love that you saved that bookshelf. And I feel the same way. Don’t buy new if u can help it. I go to the Goodwill bins and usually find what I am looking for. So weird but it happens. Piece of advise. Maybe get an inverter for the truck to plug into the cigarette lighter that converts to regular outlet to try the tv and other electrical things so if they don’t work then you can leave it in the trash. Happy hunting. Stay safe. ❤your channel. You and Alex are 2 peas in a pod (u need this on a license plate PPNAPOD I’ve seen it and so cute. They were an old couple that had it but how adorable.
I've found that too. Was looking for a specific jacket and found it last time I was at the bins, along with a bunch of other stuff. 😊
@@wtogspedersen860 uhhhh that’s what gets me … the “other” stuff. But I like that I’m saving it from the landfill and when I don’t need it anymore I will redonate it and hope it get yet another chance out there.
I think that weird folding metal thing is a cot/hammock stand for camping.

The bookshelf is built well, too! Very well made and will last forever! Great find! 😊😊😊 that folding table is also a piece that will last forever even if you have to replace the top.

Sally isn't a monster. NBC is one of my favorite movies, have you watched it? She is actually a doll that one of the villains made, and she breaks free and is now with jack. You should totally watch it if you haven't, it's a great movie and there are no monsters in it, it's a love story.
She meant like Frankenstein, I bet, made of parts and brought to life.

Hey Kelly and Alex. I wanted to tell you how much I love your channel and videos. I also wanted to tell y'all that I got a new kitty. We saved her from going to the shelter. I named her Dolly (after my favorite idol Dolly Parton). She's very tiny and supposedly just had a litter a couple of months 😢. She is a gray tabby just a year old. She is going to the Vet tomorrow for shots and worming. We will be getting her spayed very soon too. Of course she'll be indoors only where she'll be safe and happy. She makes cat #3. ❤

Sweet bookshelf find! Love when it feels like something was meant to be, fits in the exact space etc. FYI in the dumpster you found the curvey picture frames that you initially thought were air filters...there was some medical waste. The large/tall brown plastic bottles with the white lids are urine collection bottles, and there was also something that looked like what we call a "hat" in the hospital, it sits in the toilet to collect urine so you can measure the volume of urine you pee. Be careful out there!

Please go to the Dumpsters of big stores without compacters, like grocery & $-Tree stores if you can. Since you both are kind & leave things in the blessing boxes around your city I think you will find amazing things for yourselves & others.

You can also attach the shower caddy to a window outside. Put bar soap dishes in the metal trays. Then fill with bird seed

If you have a pretty glass bottle from food stuff you can fill it with the dried roses on stems and fill it with clear baby oil and close with the top. Makes a pretty display in sun window!
What does baby oil do?

The table you found , take the top off. Put a sheet of plywood on it that participle board on top is saturated with water.😊
