Yet....a video posted just yesterday, Mashed touted SEVEN canned pasta foods. Now Mashed asks "has canned spaghetti and meatballs ever been associated with high quality eating"?
Aldi does not tout that they are the healthiest alternative ever. They offer alternatives to popular national brands that sell well along with the mix of healthy items. I would suggest that you compare ALDI to the national brand is competing against and I believe that you will find they were nearly the same. If it’s a popular food item, Aldi will copy it, and that includes however great the nutrition might be in the product that is popular. All you breeding here is sensationalism and not the real story.
You guys get butt-hurt by Aldi recently? You are really slinging the arrows at em here lately. But seriously, the products you guys are attacking them over are no different than similar products at the major supermarkets. Maybe that’s what’s going on. Are you taking money from grocery chains in exchange for trashing Aldi, to give them bad press, to slow Aldi’s growth?
Aldi products may not be the best, but when you have little money and a hungry family to feed, Aldi is very helpful. And some of their products are excellent. I'm grateful to Aldi. When you have little, you have to compromise your standards somewhat.
I live within a short driving distance of 7 Aldis. I never have problems with produce, dairy including eggs, meat and fish. I buy their frozen veg as well. I don't understand why it's Pick on Aldi Day at Mashed. Try picking on Kroger and its many "little" stores like Pick n Save and Mariano's, with their overpriced items.
Not surprised about the cereal high in sugar especially when you're trying to emulate a brand name sugar bomb. I tend towards the less sweeter cereals or no sugar at all. The worst thing I ever bought was a canned chili with no beans in it. The worst tasting thing I ever bought. Tasted like it was the leftovers of a meat cooking product that didn't make it into the can and the manufacturer decided to use it instead of tossing it out. Ugh......
What has been the worst item you've ever bought at Aldi?
Their frozen shrimp anything! Stunk up my house for days!!! 🫣
Aldi's equivalent to the hefty freezer bags. Aldi's version of the bag ripped upon the first opening and closing.
Their ground beef.
Coffee

Luckily this brand wasn't featured in that one
@@knuclear200x All canned pasta/meatballs are disgusting.
@@LyleFrancisDelp I agree, haven't bought any in years

Love our ALDIs ❤I never see high in fructose
Most food on grocery store shelves today are not good…read any label, in any grocery store and you get the same results!

Or in general to stop eating cereal it's not good for you regardless

Alot of folks ate ravioli in a can growing up,some even ate it cold if we keeping it real😅
Same here. However, the current version is not the same as the original we ate back then. Today’s versions is really bad.
@@sevenflashowls yesss,I thought I was the only one who noticed this slick change lol
Long as thin mints were frowned upon lol❤
Who the F*ck worries about all that when wanting cereal😅. Literally everything seems "bad"😂😂.
Aldi came from Germany to Usa !
Love Aldi ❤
0:20,i love me some cinnamon toast crunch so i didnt know they sold this version.
Most of these foods aren’t unique to Aldi. They are knock-offs of name brands and are no worse than the originals.
It's gourmet food compared to Save-a-Lot
Their frozen salmon. Smelled too fishy.
Like Aldis
It doesn't matter it's all low quality at Aldi's
All of these are the same food you would want to avoid buying at any store. Why single out Aldi?
There are no other stores.. only Aldi
Anything with soy is not good for you.
It's always sugar bad, beans good. This channel stinks.
Aldi's bread and vegetables are not fresh..
Technically, no supermarket’s bread or veggies are fresh.
Their sourdough sliced bread is terrible.
Stay away from meat
