How I make tube rolled handles with vinyl

- This is how I make tube-rolled handles on an industrial sewing machine. I have not tried to do this on a domestic, but I'm pretty sure it can be done if the domestic can sew through thicker layers!

This was the perfect tutorial! Now I feel like I can make one!!! Thank you for the time!!!! ❤
GREAT tutorial. Thank you! My single magnet always shifts. Great solution.
Really AWESOME! so clear and precise. Do you have a video with the other part of the bag. where you attach this belt to on the bag. That would be so helpful. Thank you very much for this wonderful video.
I don't, but I might be able to throw one together. However, with the ends the way that they are, you should be able to attach them the same as most other straps
Thank you for this tutorial, to me after seeing so many different tutorials, I can say this was the best! The handle looked so professionally finished, I loved it.
Thank you so much mine came out beautiful I like your method
Very professional looking…great tutorial. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful, detailed tutorial! Smashed that subscribe button! ❤❤❤
Very good explanation!
This is by far the best tutorial on rolled handles. I have almost given up on rolled handles. I'd always sew the tube opening first and then slid the tubes in, which made my handles kinda baggy. 😅
The plastic tubing is about $4/10ft at lowes
Thanks for an awesome tutorial 😁
Thank you! I was struggling to find a good one too, so I just made it up one day, and it worked!
This is a brilliant video. So many helpful techniques. It never occurred to me to use magnets to make a tunnel. I've also never seen those narrow teflon feet, but they look like regular short-shank feet, so I assume they will fit my machine. Finally, my mother used to wear that color nail polish.
I'm new to sewing and learned so much from this, in addition to the main topic. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent tutorial. Thanks!
This is a great tutorial!
really, awesome tutorial. I'm french and i looked for some tutorial to try the rolled handles. very great job. Easy to understand, easy to follow, thank you
AWESOME TUTORIAL!!!
Thanks!
A wonderful presentation and detailed explanation, thank you 🙏
This is so clever! You solved all the problems I’d been struggling with and showed some excellent professional flourishes, such as pulling both thread into the middle so no need for back stitching. Thank you so much for making this wonderful tutorial. P.S. I hope you got a good night’s sleep! 😂
had tried using cotton tubing, and then cord tubing, but the handles weren't right. Nothing was working. Then I found you. While watching your tutorial, I found myself saying "Brilliant." . I've placed my order for the tubing and await its arrival! GREAT JOB! So looking forward to measuring up to my dream handle. Thank you so much!
Thank you! It was definitely a struggle trying to find a way to do it with vinyl. My way just made sense to me. Glad to help!
Thanks so much. Lovely tutorial. God bless you.
Gracias!! X compartir!!! Me ayudo muchisimo!!! Desde Sgo del Estero.Argentina!

Great tutorial. Love it. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thanks for the great video!
Awesome video!
You might want to try using a compensating foot, which will give you a ‘fence’ to stitch against. They are available with different stitch offsets and left or right. Mainly for industrial or semi industrial machines though. As a Juki dealer I’m pleased to see you are using the best😉😀
Thank you. I have several feet like that, but don't always find them necessary. I also like to show off different tools that others may not know of, or different ways to use them
Thank you
Love this tutorial! Could you share with me where did you get your teflon feet from. I have an industrial and your teflon feet are exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.
all of the foot links are in the description box!
Suuper bien explicado,buen trabajo ❤🎉🎉

When you use a narrow foot does that give you a precise 1/8" seam? I have so much trouble making those 1/8 " seams and I'm not sure if I should measure from the point of the needle to the outside of the foot? Hope this makes sense. Thank you for sharing this wonderful handle-sewing video!
Yes, those feet usually give me a nearly perfect 1/8" every time I topstitch. The foot itself is 5/16".
👍👍
You didn’t mention the widths of the two double sided tape. What kind of white marker did you use.?
You can use whatever size tape you have on hand. In the video I used 1/2". The pen used is a silver ink marking pen that you can find on the MoreMeKnow website
That vinyl is like butter where did you get it
It's just plain old marine vinyl from Fabric Wholesale Direct
عالی بود❤
What is the measurements of the vinyl ?
The width is 4", and the length depends on how long your tube is. Total length will be the length of your tube, plus another 10". So if you use an 8" tube, your measurement will be 18" x 4", a 12" tube would use 22" x 4", etc. You can also lessen the width to something a bit narrower than 4" if you want a smaller lip on the side of the handle.
Where did you get the variety of your presser foots from? Thank you!
I added the links to the video description!
@@HollowBagCreationsthanks You're the best!
my juke always breaks the thread sewing through thick layers
you could consider a different thread type, or check out the thread and needle lubricant at Wawak!
Did you cut the vinyl on the bias?
There is no need for that with vinyl, unless it's a directional print, as far as I know. I have never had any issues
Bonjour
Où trouvez vous vous crayon qui écrit en blanc? Merci
C'est un stylo à encre argentée de Moremeknow.com mais vous pouvez également les trouver sur amazon. Voici le lien MoreMeKnow tinyurl.com/3xe7hyb2
Where did you get the magnetic seam guides?
They are just some generic ones from Amazon. I'll add the link to the description
@@HollowBagCreations Thank you!
I got mine from wawak
