In this video, we dive in to Scoot Henderson. There was a lot of the predraft buzz around him with comparisons to Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook. Expectations were sky high for Scoot to come and dominate in the NBA from the start considering he was above average in the NBA G League at 17 years old and some considered him a generational talent. But things just haven’t panned out for him as he’s struggled immensely scoring the basketball, making the right reads, and turning the ball over while shooting horrible percentages across the board. There are many theories of why this happened including the NBA G League Ignite program and if it’s really effective for NBA prospects. We talk about all of this and more in the video so stay tuned…

I honestly think the g league ignite system has been terrible for player development and allows these guys to continue playing like they did in HS. College and overseas teams at least have the need to play winning basketball and force players to develop a more rounded game before they enter the league
Yep no big crowds is a big factor as well IMO. Lack of pressure and then going right into the nba is not a good mix. Kuminga has been the only good prospect to work out so far

yh this bs about saying he played for the g league to get clicks sucks but i watched the full video and he was mostly on point and did his homework so i don't get why he lied
his a bench player at best sorry but his not a starter
