60 years ago Nick's Shoe Shop was born of one man's dream to be the only person in Spokane who makes a living by building boots "From Start to Finish." 60 years later we carry on that tradition by still being one of the very few boot companies in the country that makes every single pair of boots in-house, From Start to Finish.

What a beautiful video. The master craftsman with the long beard is the type of employee/team member/leader that companies dream of employing. What a gentleman who speaks from the heart, who loves his craft and is genuinely excited to demonstrate the brand value to the customer day in and day out. I've been following NICKS since 2021. I've tried to learn all about PNW boots and I've seen many videos from NICKS and NICKS major competitors. My dream is to own a pair of NICKS. I currently own a well maintained, well loved pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers. From the research I've done and the compairisons made....I know that RW IR are not even close to being in the same catagory as NICKS. At the time all I could afford was a $350 pair of quality hertigage boots. I will, someday, be able to afford "The Robert" my dream boot. When that day happens...calling a NICKS representative on the phone, and then beginning the many months-long wait for the boot (half the fun!) to be crafted will be a joy well worth waiting for. Congratulations NICKS on being such a great company...with great employees...and making THE premium boot in the world. Thank you.... Mike

Mikey (long beard employee) has been and will always be a big part of Nicks, we couldn't ask for a better sole stitcher, assistant production manager, and mentor. We have some really amazing team members here that keep us ticking along. Thank you for all your support!

Got my first pair of Nicks Corks in 1984 when I was a logger in Marblemount, Wa. Got them used from a fellow logger. Now I have a pair of Shrunken Buffalo MTOs and love them.

    Big Nicks fan here.
The best part of the video is the photo montage at the end. Great job and happy 70th!

Mr. Hunter, I believe your initials are on my check off card that came with my boots. Sir, thank you as well. You did an amazing job. Along with the rest of the crew. I truly love my boots.

I’m already planning on getting a third pair lol. I exclusively use them for my construction job but I hope one day to buy a casual pair. They are def the most durable boots, and although the break in is something to get used to, once they are broken in best boot ever.

      It's called the Americana

the Americana is the iron ranger killer! the Falcon is like a plain toe version too. You can get them on the HNW last for more of a round toe or the ThurmanNW for ergonomic footshape. I reccomend looking into ThurmanNW!

The Americana is a great choice for you! nicksboots.com/americana-brown-heritage-boot/

@@nickyeah5175 Falcon has a different backstay so it's technically different. But you could pick your options to build an Americana without a toe cap. Choose a 6 inch boot with the one piece backstay.
