I am a true Christian. True Christians teach Judaism just as the early Christian congregation did. Jesus was an Essene Jew as were his apostles and his earliest followers. They ALL taught Judaism. In fact, Jesus stated at John 4:22 " You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, because SALVATION BEGINS WITH THE JEWS." Those who claim to be Christian but do not teach Judaism are false imitation Christians. As an Essene Jew, Jesus Christ viewed the Written Torah as his God and Father's inspired and sacred word and so do true Christians today. In fact, everything Jesus taught, he taught from the Greek Septuaguint LXX because the Christian Greek scriptures had not yet been written while he was still on earth.

The Christian Greek scriptures are not a "corrupted book", but rather they are a different law covenant. As for being contradictory, no they are not. The contradictions come from the teachings and traditions of the churches of Christendom, but not from the Christian Greek scriptures themselves. In fact, they also do not contradict the Written Torah although the churches of Christendom do everything in their power to try to make them contradict. And yes....there is lots of proof of Jesus outside the NT, but not if you look at it from the viewpoint of the churches of Christendom with its false teachings. Many Jews are in agreement that "the angel of Jehovah" that is spoken of throughout the Hebrew scriptures is the Messiah and he is the one who protected the ancient nation of Israel from pharoah and the Egyptian army. He is the "Prince of Jehovah's army" as described at Joshua 5:13-15 as well as the one referred to at Daniel 10:13 as "One of the foremost princes" and also the "Great Prince" mentioned at Daniel 12:1. The word "Prince" also means "ruler" and there are only 2 rulers in heaven that are mentioned in scripture....God and his Son. That is why Dan.10:13 calls him ONE OF THE foremost princes. If you read the account at Joshua 5:13-15, you will notice that the man Joshua spoke to commanded him to take off his sandals because he was standing on holy ground. So who is this prince or commander of Jehovah's armies of billions of angels that was able to command holy ground if not the great princely Son of the Great God and King of the Universe, Jehovah God???

    • @donald2306
      @donald2306 Před 4 lety

      @@silentlurker1324
If you are speaking of proving scripturally from the Hebrew scriptures the authenticity of Jesus outside of what is taught about him in the NT....yes, absolutely I can prove it. However, give ear please to the counsel found at Proverbs:
Prov.3:5 "Trust in Jehovah with all your heart,
And do not rely on your own understanding."
It is one thing to "study" the bible, and it is quite another to learn what it teaches by first approaching Jehovah in prayer and asking for his Spirit and direction to help you to understand what it is you are studying. Psalms also offers strong counsel regarding the manner in which we need to study God's written word:
Ps.1:2 "But his delight is in the law of Jehovah,
And he reads His law in an undertone day and night."
Now does this mean that we should read the bible every minute of every day and every minute of every night?....No!....But what it does mean is that when we DO read it, we need to read it in an undertone. What does it mean to read it in an undertone? It means to "meditate". In other words, when you read something from God's written word, you need to stop and ask yourself questions such as "What does it mean here in Ecclesiastes when God says that when a man dies he knows nothing at all, that he has no works and no wisdom? What is God trying to tell me here?" This helps us to get the proper sense of what it is we are reading. I do not just "study" the bible. Rather, I study and teach it. I am not just a student of the bible, I am a "professor" of its meaning and I "profess" (or teach) it.....ALL of it! When it comes to what the bible teaches one might even say that all of Jehovah's Witnesses have PHD's, BA's, and even Doctorates in what both the Hebrew and the Christian Greek scriptures teach. The most basic part of what Jehovah's Witnesses teach is JUDAISM, and when properly taught, MUCH of JUDAISM is also found in the Christian Greek Scriptures. Sadly, the pagan churches of Christendom have grossly misrepresented the Judaic teachings of the Christian Greek scriptures and completely hidden them behind the veil of the trinity and other pagan traditions. Keep in mind that Jesus was an Essene Jew and his apostles and the very first christian disciples were also Jews and they gathered and met and taught in the Jewish synagogues. Don't think for a moment that they just simply stopped practicing and teaching Judaism because had they done so and attempted to teach what the churches of Christendom teach, there would have been riots and uprisings against them and no such thing is recorded in the historical records of early Israel or among the Jews.

He is more like the Philisees and does not believe in Christ being Jesus. You need to read the Bible over and over because his belief is the one practiced before Jesus was born to this world for our Savior. This is what devided the many Jews from the ones that Jesus chose as His followers to spread the word to the world. He has not believeed in the Son of God in my knowledge and is still waiting for the first coming of Christ. Listen carefully because to believe in God's plan, is to follow Jesus. Only about half the OT is accepted and the second half and the NT have never been accepted by many Jews. If you read the Bible and compare with the daily news you can see what was written thousanda of years ago is fact now. There are no lies written in the Bible.

Awesome lecture by Rabbi Singer, as usual.
This guy exudes so much passion... it's amazing to watch.
Passion for G-d, yes, of course. But, also Culture, and heritage, and history... It's groovy!
A lot of people throw the term 'OCD' around without really understanding what it is. As a sufferer, i understand it inside and out. My specific kind is 'Scrupulosity' (The religious oriented kind).
For most of my life, I was so utterly tormented, convinced that I was going to wind up in a Pagan 'Hell' because of my 'intrusive thoughts' (which I could not control).
Anyway.... ultimately I found myself at this 'Christian Retreat' run by two nutcases. My condition was just exacerbating. The experience was horrible. But, I did stumble upon one tiny bit of information, which really was the catalyst that provoked me to study Theology. I simply found out that The Tanakh says everyone goes to Sheol.
Wait a second. G-d's original word says everyone goes to Sheol and NOT 'Heaven or Hell'...
This is what 'planted the seed'.
Over the years thereafter, I continued to study more and more, and it was just painfully and blatantly obvious that Chriatianity was so unequivocally Pagan. Because of this 'Revelation' (so to speak), my crippling fear of this Pagan Hell popularized by Platonic Hellenic Philosophy started to fade.
I'm so grateful, because I suffered so badly. I experienced more panic attacks than I could possibly count.
I must confess... I don't have exceptional 'faith', but i love study Jewish Theology and History. It resonates with me. Also my father is Jewish, but he's very 'secular'.
I recently contacted the Synagogue where I live, but I never received a reply.
I'll call again. Hopefully, they're not strict adherents to the Mandatory 'Maternal Doctrine'.
Anyway... Very good lecture as always.

@@robstanton4630 it's strange that your allegedly 'Jewish' buddy said that (paraphrase) in Judaism there is no concept of life beyond 'Sheol' (the grave). That's simply not accurate.
Indeed, Jews don't 'obsess' about it like Christians and Muslims.
As you likely know The Jewish Religion is divided into 2 'paradigms' (so to speak). Olam HaZe (This World) and Olam HaBa (The World to Come). The Tanakh pretty well deals exclusively with Olam HaZe. I think this is the reason why there's so much 'confusion'.
The prophesied 'Mashiach' will usher I The new Epoch (Olam HaBa) and all people (Save for the people that G-d has destroyed) will go through (Gaulah) a Redemptive Event where Soul is reunited with body and everyone resurrects from their grave. This is one of the reasons why Jews are not 'supposed to be cremated.
Before this occurs, though, all souls are generally believed to go through a process called 'Gehinnom'. This is often referred to as 'Hell'. It can only last for a Maximum of 12 months, though. If you cannot be 'Spiritually Cleansed' (Tahor) in that period, you are 'destroyed'. After that process you just go to Gan Eden (Heaven) and chill there until Mashiach comes.
The reason Jews never talk about that is because, well... none of us care.
Unlike Pagans who all want to exist devoid of a 'body'... devoid of 'The Material', in Judaism a 'body' is considered a good thing.
Bodies are 'practical'. You can 'do stuff with them.
So, the focus is all on Olam HaBa... The World to Come, where Soul is reunited with body.

      2. A sin offering could NOT be injured or have any wounds or weeping sores on their body. (Lev 22:22) Jesus has many wounds on his body prior to his death.
      3. A sin offering could not have any injuries or defects on the body (Lev 22:25) Jesus was beaten, whipped and pierced prior to his death.
      4. A sin offering had to be taken to the priest and sacrificed on the altar in the temple. To offer a sacrifice anywhere else was an unacceptable to God. (Deut 12:13-14) Jesus died on a stake on a hill.
      5. The Torah tells us that human sacrifice of any kind is an abomination to God. (Deut 12:31 and 18:10 also Ezek 16:20) Jesus death would have been a human sacrifice.
      6. The Torah tells us, no man can die in place of or be a ransom for another. (Palm 49:7-8)
      7. The Torah tells us, every man is accountable for his own sin, and that a father cannot take the responsibility for the sins of his children. (Ezek 18:20) Jesus did not die for us.
This tells me that there is no need for JC. If I were to continue to believe (as I used to) that JC had to die for my sins, then it would mean that I didn't believe in what G-d said.
Isaiah 40:8 tells us, The grass shall dry out, the blossom shall wilt, but the word of our God shall last forever.
I cannot deny G-d's word, for I believe it to be true. So I decided to deny JC. My research goes way beyond this. I discovered the 7 laws of Noah too and live by them. I also now read the Jewish Tanakh and not the bible.

The gospels and epistles illuminate the Hebrew bible.
The Hebrew bible in turn gives a foundation to the Gospels and epistles.
      R. Singer is in error when he claims ' Christian's agree that the Hebrew bible would still stand without the Gospels/epistles, a simple example of this is found in Hebrews 1:1-3
"In the past God spoke to our father's many times and in various ways,
but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things and through whom he made the universe.
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word.
If you don't know what the Son is saying you cannot hear from God.
God the Father didn't stop speaking to his creation at Sinai.
It's not only a mistake but an insult to the Father, to disregard his words, and then decide to impose religion on him, we do not call him the Living God for no reason.
Listen to him! not only has he spoken by his Son, but Jesus is alive today and is still speaking to us by his Spirit through his word(Hebrew bible+ New testament)

@@ToviaSinger1 Thank you for the reply. It is interesting that the Cuneiform tablets speak about these events, and how these ancient beings were the heads over these centers. What I find interesting is the dates of the writings and which came first. Once I found that, (Umpteen Years ago), I realized that this goes back to Ancient Sumer. And the Gods that were over these centers, just so happen to have the same attributes of what has been written in the Biblical narratives. So then, I identified these ancient beings, and the biblical accounts hold the same motif. What it does, is identify these ancient beings and what countries they ruled over, (just like, in the biblical narratives). The people of Israel and Judah, were disobeying the LORD their God, and did Evil in the sight of the LORD. Who were these ancient Lords that they were worshipping? What did they represent? They were ruled, under the power and authority, of the most high GOD! Israel and Judah, did not listen to the LORD, and they were punished. Isaiah (Proto), was there with the four kings, during the 8th century, (when Tiglath-Pilesar III/Pulu was King and so on...). Israel was wiped out! Taken into captivity. Dispersed throughout the land. Judah was left. The most high god, over all of the lands, and these other ancient beings, was Marduk. And Isaiah, would have been in contact with the King and his entourage, during the discussions with Ahaz, pleading for help from the Assyrians. You see... Sennacharib, desecrated the temple of Marduk. And took Marduk's statue from the temple. What does Isaiah relate, He relates that the God of Israel, is going to destroy Assyria. Due to the kings Arrogance, and while worshipping, Nisroch/Ninurta, (an Anunnaki God under the power of Marduk) He was killed by his sons in his temple. His other son Esarhaddon ended up restoring Marduk's Temple, which was the restoration of the E-sagil(House of the lofty head).
It goes on and on. I have written about these events. Most interesting, everytime a prophet was telling the people, somehow Babylon is always involved, with the Assyrians whom ruled Babylon, and the Neo-Babylonian era through Cyrus, who proclaims Marduk as the one who looked throughout the land to find him, and chose him. And according to (Deutero-Isaiah 45) he Would have been present during these events taking place, instead of a presuppositions from 8th century writings.
I appreciate your response. Thank you for your time. I'm looking for some type of rectification. If you would, Discourse would be great! Awesome subjects here.

What differentiates Satan in Islam and that in Christianity is that Christians see Satan as a "fallen" angel, originator of evil and almost a godly being in opposition to God (like paganism) while the Islamic view is, in terms of terminology and concept, in agreement with the Hebrew Bible but, in terms of particular origins, attesting the Jewish apocryphal and pseudo-graphical scriptures. While angels do not have free will, demons (that is, the ones referred to as 'Shediim' by Hebrews and 'Jinn' by Arabs) can be good and evil like humans (unlike in Christianity) though mostly are evil. In Islamic scripture, evil humans and demons both are called 'satans' (indefinite and mostly plural) while 'Satan' ("the satan") is only an attributive name for a particular demon (so obviously good and evil demons predate him) who worshiped God so much that he was granted the rank (in honor not being) of an archangel but rebelled against God's will and refused to bow to Man (Adam), so was cast out of the Garden and asked God to give him the power to tempt and deceive his enemy, i.e., Man. So he was in opposition to humans (and not God), an "adversary" unto him and hence named. He is ultimately an agent of God but not like the angels. This account is not canon to the Hebrew Bible but present in Jewish apocryphal and pseudo-graphical scriptures.

The word LUCIFER was first introduced by JEROME, a Latin priest/historian. So the original word 'heylel' (comes from the root word HALAL that can mean 2 different things...it can mean bright and shiny one or in the negative sense to boast, to be mad, to rage) was corrupted back in the 400s. The word LUCIFER is a LATIN word that means 'light-bearer', the equivalent in HEBREW is 'AARON'. The word Lucifer is the name attributed to the bright star, VENUS. So the original meaning was removed and hidden! This is what it should read in Isaiah 14: 12, "How you have fallen from the heavens, Oh YOU INCREDIBLY ARROGANT AND MAD BOASTER! You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the nations!" This obviously was the king of Babel, as verse 4 states.

Rabbi, I've watched/listened to quite a few of your videos. I am Christian (Universalist in Logic/Catholic is expression, the irony that Universal/Catholic are one in the same in meaning). I respect your zeal, I admire and applaud your knowledge of religion(s) and of course The Scripture.
That being stated, there are some things which you have stated which are too generalized, although mostly true about those who consider themselves Christian.
    1. I do not find the book of Job as heretical. As a matter of fact I use the story in many theological debates between Myself and people of different theological points of view, and without belief altogether who do not understand the point of life's struggle.
    2. I do not believe that Yahshua is God, it doesn't add up biblically. Obviously, given our religious affiliation, we differ on His role and connection with God. Though I love hearing your breakdown of counter arguments that heavily dispute Yahshua's Divine connection.
    3. I agree that Satan's role is not the anti-God presence, but acts solely as the Divine enforcer of God's Law and Tempter to test the righteous/holy.
    4. I do not believe that people should be going over to the Holy Land to make a dispute/convert Jews. I also don't believe that it is right to call Israel a true Israel until The Messiah comes to lead the Jews to unite and in the name of peace that all should fall to that same peace of their own freewill, as God had so instilled.
    5. My feelings of Paul, the selfish apostle, differs from the vast majority of Christians as I find he broke himself from the bonds of St. Peter's stewardship/sheparding if we are being orthodox to the Apostalic Gospels lol. It is no doubt the reason why Martin Luther essentially worshipped Paul, for many reasons (anti-semitism, selfish drive, schism, fanatical and violent zeal, etc). Paul comes later and doesn't stand in the presence of Yahshua, he doesn't have a right to question Peter who was renamed given his name by supposed Divine appointment.
    6. The icons and adornation of The Church are not to be worshipped. Such busts and beautiful decoration is to be used as reflective of the Holy and be used as a battery to charge in ourselves the potential of righteousness/holiness.
There's many, many other things I could bring up, but currently, I do not have the time.
I want you to know. You inspire Me. From what I know of you, I find you to be a friend in God and very learned and righteous man worthy of the title Rabbi. I listen on the Sabbath. (Yes I reject Sunday as Sabbath, there is absolutely no grounds for anyone in the Bible and Apostalic writings to state that another other than the evening of Friday to Saturday be changed)
    7. There is no such thing as The Old Testament, to call The Bible such is a heresy in itself as God's law and examples never become old, God does not change IT's mind, men who have written, inspired by God or something else, however, do.
Anyway. If you are the knowledgeable man I think you are you will not judge Me for My harsh appearance, nor assume I do not cover My head to honour God in a place of Holiness kept for God's word or in private communion, not stating you will.
I hope you will see My intentions are true and righteous and My eyes and ears are open to seeing the full scope of The Bible.
Shalom, with Love, your brother in God.

in islam, we have to see the meaning of word 'shaitaan', shaitaan is not a name but it is an adjective, however, there was someone who was thrown away from heaven and that was not angel, but that was a jinn and the adjective shaitaan was used at that time, also-angels do not have free will, so an angel cannot fall into temptations.when we read quran, we see shaitaan is an adjective given to a person that disobey the God, meaning people that fall into temptations and keep doing sin and also it does not mean that jinn that got thrown away from the heaven is the cause of all the crazy things in the world, but his disobedience is described by the adjective 'shaitaan'. God gave us 1600cc cranial capacity to think and we cannot say that 'shaitaan trolled me'. that is why, we pray to God to keep us away from temptations.

@@tcl5853 What differentiates Satan in Islam and that in Christianity is that Christians see Satan as a "fallen" angel, originator of evil and almost a godly being in opposition to God (like paganism) while the Islamic view is, in terms of terminology and concept, in agreement with the Hebrew Bible but, in terms of particular origins, attesting the Jewish apocryphal and pseudo-graphical scriptures.

In Judaism there is a concept of "minimization" - צמצום . That since G-d is everywhere and all-encompassing He had to "minimize" himself in order to create the universe and it's beings. He then minimized His presence within the world creating a Hidden presence. The Hebrew word עולם (world) has the same root as the word העלם (hidden). G-d did this in order to allow us to earn our reward in the world to come. So that we don't fell like free-loaders for all eternity G-d gave us challenges. He gave us a pull away from Himself - the satan or yetzer hara and a pull toward himself - the yetzer hatov. (Think of the Id and the Super Ego in psychology)
The concept is that along with the challenges we are presented with the tools to overcome them. There is also a concept in Judaism of a "point of choice" נקודתהבחירה .That is, that every individual is only tested according to hid current place along a moving ruler of choices. The Talmud brings the example of a thief from a family of gangsters, who's choice was to rob without murdering, as opposed to, not robbing at all.
The concept is very powerful. G-d gave humanity the ability to choose to believe that He doesn't exist, in order to allow us to be close to Him by free will and to achieve our closeness to Him for all eternity.

What you just said got me kicked out of my church 45:7.
I feel that satan has a 'job' as seen in the Book of Job - to test to see what one fears. And to fear ANYTHING else but God is the same as to NOT 'trust' God in His goodness, and this is the essence of faith.
God allows evil as another means of 'guiding' us, the difference between the staff and the rod. This is also why (and how) God demonstrated this not only by Moses 'changing staff', but that Moses 'serpent' could EAT (use) the other serpents... and then turn back into a serpent again.
I see so much wisdom as such - through this duality view - a 'soveriegn' God, AND also causes the ability to RIGHTLY DIVIDE the word of God, Isaiah 1 and Psalm 1 being great examples.

You are incorrect, the Bible talks about Satan and his position before he became a fallen angel in rebellion. He was created like every other Angel in heaven is only his rebellion that has caused them to now hold the title of a demon. The Bible tells us all we need to know about Satan and his origin. Angels in fact do have free will, if they did not have free will they would never have been an incident in heaven where I 3rd of the heavenly angels fell into rebellion against God. This is recorded in the Bible. I would advise that if you are a Muslim that you get your hands on a good translation of the Bible and sit down and read it there is much in the Bible that is not recorded in the Koran. The Bible contains the truth.

The Devil, named Iblees or Shaitaan (Satan) in Islam, is a being from amongst the Jinn, a species separate to the Angels, Humans and Animals.
It is a core belief in Islam that Iblees is not an Angel, as Angels are not beings that have free will and therefore it is impossible for them to disobey God.
From amongst the Jinn, Iblees (Satan) was the most pious and righteous of all, in fact he had reached such a high level that he was in the company of the Angels in the heavens due to his piety, it was when Allah (God) created Adam, the first human being, that Iblees’ downfall began.
As mentioned in the Qur’an, Allah decided to create the first human being, Adam, from clay. Once Adam was fully created, Allah commanded everyone in the heavens to bow down to Adam out of respect, not out of worship in the way that Muslims prostrate to Allah.
“And we have certainly created you, [O Mankind], and given you [human] form. Then we said to the angels, “Prostrate to Adam”; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.”[Qur’an: Al-A’raaf 7:11]
As mentioned in the above verse, the command was given to everyone including Iblees who is mentioned together with the angels.
This verse often causes confusion amongst people who don’t have knowledge of the Arabic language, and on the face of the translation it suggests that Satan was an angel instead of a Jinn, fitting into the Judeo-Christian theology. However this type of phrase is common in Arabic i.e. to mention two separate types of people in one group, for example “All of the students left, except the teacher.” It does not mean that the teacher is a student, however it is an easier way to describe the situation.
Iblees refused to obey the command of Allah, the following verse tells us the reason why he did not bow down.
“[Allah] said, “What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?” [Satan] said, “I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” [Qur’an: Al-A’raaf 7:12]
Iblees was in essence the first racist to ever exist, this stemmed from his immense arrogance and pride over who he was, which ultimately led to his downfall,

I haven't watched the full video yet(about halfway through), the Rabbi does mention that in christian theology Satan was regarded as the greatest of all the angels(3:50). Aquinas though for example believes that Satan belonged to the class of angels known as the Cherubim(Ezekiel28:14), which Aquinas ranked as the second most powerful(for want of a better word) class of angels after the Seraphim(Isaiah6:2). Aquinas ranks nine distinct classes of angels all founded in scripture(New and Old Testament).
I've also a problem with the Rabbi's thesis that God didn't create the angels with free will but that he created man with free will to chose good or evil? If the angels always act in accordance with God's will how does he explain Daniel10:13? Btw Aquinas also has a very good explanation for this passage of scripture.

in a literal sense: the position of bridge-builder was indeed an
important one in Rome, where the major bridges

As I see it, In Gen 3, the accuser tempts the woman and then he says she would not die if she sins. He causes her to question the Creator's word and then he implies He is not bing honest and is just not wanting her to be like Him. What he says is in direct opposition to what the Creator said. Is that not the same as saying our Creator is lying? To me that is the same as calling into question our Creator's word and his integrity. We all know He can't lie, yet the accuser is basically saying that is what he is doing. I can't imagine the Creator ever being ok with anyone, man or even an angel saying He lies or questioning His righteous charachter or perfect word. I understand Him using influences to test his people, but I think He is too holy to ever be ok with any being slandering Him or his word, openly or by implication ,intensionally or by accident. Can you imagine any other holy servant saying the Creator isn't truthful or his word isn' true, even if it was to test one of his servants? Does it sound like the accuser is honoring the the Creator in Gen 3 with his words? Aren't the Creator's servants here to glorify him in word and action? As I read scripture, I never see it appropriate to say the Creator or his word aren't perfect and completely trustworthy. I also don't see the Creator blessing the interaction and actually see he cursed the serpent. I came here to get an understanding outlook of what others believe, but I am obviously not seeing things the same way on this subject.

I like him because he is very straightforward. I like to listen to rabbis debate other theologians and scholars. You can be an Intellectual and be able to have this sophisticated way of quoting all these scriptures. But a rabbi is the real deal. if Christianity contradicts the Torah it is in its core fundamentally misleading and its a very real threat to a person that just wants the basic principles of Judaism and hopefully a secondary view of Christianity(if any at all) the two are incompatible and I commend tovia for defending the Jewish people in a wholesome intelligible manner. I'm impressed.

Your fairly accurate here. However, the changes they made was the Oral Torah which was filled with traditions much like the religious teachings of the Roman church are filled with traditions. It was for that reason that Jesus called the pharisees "serpents and offspring of viper because you teach doctrines of men rather than commands of God". Yes, Jesus blasted them because of the traditions found in the Oral Torah. To him, the law of Moses and the writings of the early prophets, the Written Torah, were the sacred and inspired word of his God and Father.

I think that Satan still loves God, and he do what he must- he is bounded by his status as a cherub, and just can't du anything really that goes against Gods will.
And if you remember what the bible says about the flood, that God regretted making humans - so it's kind of in line.
We should clam tighter to the cherub Michael , that came down as Jesus Christ, to give us a heads up, and plow a road for us to walk on - and he did the work perfectly, even as dead! He is now a temporary king in heaven, with the task of fulfilling the change of heart that he and other managed to remind God that killing us all, was not really in the line of Love, a fundamental aspect of the all mighty God.
With Christs insight on how it is to be human - we can still have hope.
But if we die, the main part of us will just be reabsorbed by the creator, and the flesh will be left to rut.
The one God is all, and everything is a aspect of the one and only God.
