Madam , i heard you first time years back in ITC Sangeet Research Academy Kolkata . You were hardly in your late twenties then .. and You are a great Scholar . The work you are doing here by documenting these rare ragas and making it understandable for the common Classical Vocal Lovers in clear phrases , deserves unending gratitude and respect . Accept my pranaam .

Thank you, so good to add this to a long list of a truly great tradition.
That it comes via Madhusudhan Kanetkar who in turn learnt it from Bhurji Khan only makes it so special, given that Mallikarjun Mansur also learnt from Bhurji Khan and Manji Khan both. My YT playlist alone had Kesarbai Kerkar, Mogubai Kurdikar, Mallkarjun Mansur, Kishori Amonkar, Arun Dravid, Rajshekhar Mansur, among others. Now to check and add the bandish text to all of them!
This is beautifully sung, and so clearly enunciated that the bandish as transliterated in the Madhusudhan Kanetkar then can be seen as:
    ***
This is going to be a lovely exercise to compare how this bandish transforms in other versions.
Magriel and Perron give the following as the bandish as sung by Mallikarjun Mansur:
    ***
Magriel and Perron give this as the bandish as sung by Vilayat Hussain Khan:
Vilayat Hussain Khan also gives a demo of different types of Kanadas:

Sangeet ke Jawaharaat give this bandish for Ahir Kanada:

Though the Nayak ( krishna) is here , the Nayika ( Radha) is not interested for meeting ( Abhiman : false Anger) . But her Sakhi is astonished by seeing this, she says that, " Your ( Radha) character is beyond my head, why are you doing late for this meeting?
