One of the few movies that's still stuck with me to this day
Russell Crowe is an artist beyond comparison. Master and Commander is one of his superb pieces of work as well.
Thank you for showing us your supreme ability.
Yes, master, & commander, excellent!
He was also a bloodthirsty egomaniac at the time of filming on top of being an inspiring actor… perfect for a Roman general of that era in the black forests of Germania
Love the little back & forth between these two at the end 🩵 Lots of mutual respect & goodwill. Strength & honour.
Finally a interviewer who lets the actor talk and dont iterrupt on every 10 sec like all Hollywood hosts
yes.
What I love about, Crowe, is the, fact, he makes his, characters, so believable,.. a sure sign of a great, actor.
Agreed
Ty for that interview I just found. 22 years now and still one of my favourite movies I ever watch again from time to time... excellent acting, film cut is amazing plus I love the music in very much, too.
Really cool. Gladiator is one of my all-time favorites.
Amazing Movie with perfect cast!!!! Savage Masterpiece!!!!
As someone who just watched a bunch of Crowe interviews on CZcams in a row, these were great questions.
I believe that Russell Crowe should’ve won the Oscar for a beautiful mind because it was a far better performance than any of the other Oscar nominations at that time. Gladiator is one of my favourite all-time movies and I have seen it many times and it’s a fallback movie for me whenever I want to watch some thing with him in it.
Great ensemble. Unmatchable cast and script for what it was. Was simply meant to be .
One of the best movies ever, LOVE Russel Crowe no one else could have done that part so well. He is so talented.
What an awesome interview! So nice to hear Russell story telling on the Gladiator production which I think it’s one the best films I’ve seen. Thanks you two for making this happen, God bless.
Even though it's historically inaccurate I can still watch it over and over.
really the best movie ever,
This is such a great back story by Russell Crowe!
Great story & you let him talk- well done!
he is superb isn't he...
a cerebral actor... now there's a thing.
Russell just might be the kindest man in Hollywood 🤩
Crowe must get asked about that line and to say it thousands of times since 2000! He's been a really good sport about it, considering. Well done! Respect!
Great interview. I love that movie so very much.
Favorite movie all time, Crowe was absolutely flawless with this character
How many heads have we got left ? 🤣
Great interview
Sei Glorioso Maestro 'tantissimi complimenti in continuare!!!
probably THE definitive ancient history movie EVER...
Ben Hur ('59) #1 - Gladiator a very strong #2!
Great movie. That was the first time I saw him and he thought he looked like Richard Burton as Mark Anthony. There are not many great films but this one is very good.
Strength & Honor 🤝
FABULOUS!
I totally feel the Interviewers giddiness, the background story Russell gives about the film is just awesome.
Gladiator is an awesome "timeless" movie.
Yes timeless even though it takes place in ancient rome. it's very much about manhood, strength and honor
And amazing that he did The Insider just before that (also great movie)
Magic.
"virtūs et honos"
-Russell Crowe
This film broadcasting into space has probably scared all
The extraterrestrial beings that
Have picked it up and viewed it.
Gabe Newell
