I've seen The VL Stevens. Never seen one in action before. IMHO both the Stevens and the Pedersen design Remington pump action mechanical repeaters have to be well adjusted and in good working order in order for them to function reliably. Excellent video.
I have one of these too Shep. It had to be rebuilt with the help of a friend who relined the chamber and fixed it up nice. Its finish is worn, but it works well. I only use lower powered ammo in it.
