Aphelios is the champ I play in League of Legends - Although my Aphelios plays may look weird and random, a lot of my plays can make for some insane aggressive outplays when using his weapons. I aim to just enjoy the game with Aphelios rotations, new League exploits/bugs, and make entertaining montages, highlights, and so on! Nice video! Loved it!! I wanted to ask, whats ur conditions to go collector ie first items? Im always scared to build collector
In my pov, collector is valuable earlygame against squishies or if you are so ahead that even tanks won't have the time to build armor before you finished your second/third item.
If there is, one big tank or more, i don't buy collector at all.
Usually against a team with tanks, i rush bf + zeale to have a good intermediate spike
I finish then my infinity edge. So i have 45% crit chance at the moment i spend all my money on the IE for a huge powerspike.
Then i can build ghost dancer if i need mobility.
Runnan /yun thal arrox if there is a lot of hp to shred but not a lot of armor
Or not finish the zele at all and rush dominiks if the ennemi toplaner top is a nasus frozenheart frozengauntlet at 15 minutes :3
I like this path cause it gives a lot of possibility.
But in the best scenario. They have no tank, rush collector, then ie, and game over.

What do you max first in this patch? Still ad then lethality?
normaly yes.
There is an other school wich maximise attack speed. But this path relies to much on the chakram in my pov.
So i usually max ad/ lethality to do more Ability/burst damage with all aphelios's kit

people are doing lvl 1 AS lvl 2 AD lvl 3 AD then leth max AD max, with AS last, there's tons of AD in the crit items rn and aph doesnt really need the bonus attack speed if you either buy berks or sit on a zeal after first item

Yeah, I thought it was only against turbo poke...
bone plating isnt very good against a lot of poke cuz it doesn't reduce the first instance of damage and goes on cd. it's really good against short range champs that have good burst and want to all in cuz youre basically guaranteed to always get full value from it
he went bone plating both games since hes playing against engage comps: samira braum and varus naut (varus may have poke, but naut and varus burst is more of a threat than just varus q)
he goes other runes in diff comps but those were the runes he went those games
Oh yeah, it's because when I play with green runes, it's with second wind + overgrowth (against poke), so I saw green and thought it was that

its shit.
You wont have enough damage to sustaint properly.
If you want a defensive option for first item against some bursty opponent, like jhin/lux, well first, dont get catch and take cleanse.
And second immortal shieldbow is a better first item option cause it dosn't delay to much your damage output for the team as you can easily put a ie second item to maximize that crit investment while still being able to survive someone's burst.
But, that's a pussy moove. The best defense is offense. If you want to kick ass of bursty champions they are usually squishy. So collector IE is a better option in my pov. Take fleet foot work to have a bit of sustain in the laning phase, and enough mobility to dance around the caster's spells. Be ahead, try to be good on xp and normaly, no one should be able to touch you.
(except for that sett bastard, i hate him)
(And don't forget to buy mercurial scepter instead of bt against cc champ like lissandra, malzahar, ww, etc.) It's way better on this cases.
