It's not a matter of whether she needed to win or not. It's a matter of she should have won because she's by far the best talent on that stage. The other acts were good but not even close to her. And the over all winner? Give me a break. Really? The guy was different for sure but in the level of over all talent he wouldn't qualify to carry her sheet music. I'm disgusted with these shows. Voting by super fans my ass. She won that show hands down.
That's not the point. The point is not one single performer was good enough to carry her gear. What crap. This is why I can't stand these shows. I knew something was fishy way back when Ella Henderson lost to James Arthur who didn't have 1/3 the talent and Carly Rose Sonenclar lost to Tate Stevens who was an average country singer at best. So every now and than I'll go to youtube and check out these shows and yup still fishy.

And just like Lindsey Stirling did, she will transcend the apparent placing she got on this show by demonstrating her own success in the real world with real music lovers-not just the insular voters on these types of shows.

Angelina likely would have won.... but could not.. because family (rightfully so maybe) would not agree to signing her performance life and ownership of her music life away to the lawyers/corp. that Simon works for. In contracts..seems if you do not sign.... your highest placement is automatically limited. This happened early on and IMHO has been the source of her dreariness in all of her performances since.

Angelina is brilliant and already a star. She sings all over the world to large audiences. A little disappointment now and then is okay. Her talent remains.
That's true. She was already an artist before going on the show. And someone who is not even a vocalist Marcelito eliminates her, I guess the voting is everything not the talent. If you were to compare by talent Angelina is 10 times better than all contestants put together, not even exaggerating. This show really needs something to really determine the best talent not the most audience. What I would like to say is the truth is that Marcelito has no future with the manipulation of his voice (it's a talent but not a talent for the future as an artist). And if you see Angelina now with her latest album released and was signed with a record label. That goes to show how this show isn't who has the best talent but who gets the most votes. And obviously the majority of the voters are not going to vote in terms of who has the best talent, the votes would be more for the taste of who that person likes. Last thing I should mention that Angelina Jordan is the best talent to ever compete on any talent show. Where are the talents that came above Angelina in the competition? That in itself goes to show you....

@@Kurnia12345 I have a feeling something ain't right. Now I don't have any proof but what I do believe is that before the show even starts, Simon already knows who he might want to try to sign with one of his labels and not all the contestants will make a deal obviously. Some do and some don't. So those that don't make a deal will come to an agreement with Simon that they just want exposure so they will have a golden buzzer to boost their popularity but don't win. Which is why at their last performance they will sing a song chosen by the show. So those that should not win will get the worst song selection. And obviously with the worst song selection out of all the great performances of the contestants the public are going to like the best song selections. This is just what I believe, it might not be exactly like I say but there is something like this happening. Pre determined winner show. Plus, while I do hope Putri will prove me wrong, I believe Putri won't make it, she will only make it in her country. Putri and Angelina are both 17, like you said, but they are different. Angelina is far ahead of Putri in terms of excellence. What I mean is Putri is at the level when Angelina was 11-12 right now at 17 years of age. Which is why Angelina competed in the Champions version of the show, because she was invited 3 years ago. Putri on the other hand wasn't invited to the 2020 Champions edition of the show, which shows you enough. And now she competed at 17 years old 3 years later than Angelina in the normal version of the show. You see the difference? At the end of the day I do hope she will reach Angelina and maybe one day they will sing together.

Her renditions of Bohemian Rapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road were the best versions, even better than the original ... Until now, I listen to her songs, every day ... Ugh ... There is no emotional connection in his performance. What Iâm looking for in a singer, is someone who can make me feels the emotion that the artist is trying to convey in their performance and Angelina, her performance are full of emotions and it gives me the chills every time I listen to her. Scam to call this a contest. This is a TV show that is predetermined. Where does the finale go pre-recorded, and who are the so-called superfans. And it peaks when Simon uses the same feedback twice edited. It is strange those who make such a show sleep at night. After all, this is a regular scam, and the most frightening thing is that people accept this. In fact, I can't understand that someone is so cynical that they use good artists, and we as viewers in their quest for profit. I will never look at this nonsense again. I wish all artists the best of luck. At least they were real and good.

I've just seen this competition now in August 20, and I still can't believe Angelina Jordan didn't make it to the end. All the competitors were undoubtedly very talented, but Angelina is simply unique. But, the show must go on, and I'm sure she'll shine much brighter for the great star she is.
You could see judges's disappointment when Marcelito and Angelina were called on the same spot.

I think Angelina lost because her family refused to sign over her management to AGT and Simon if she won. This shows it is not about whose the best, but who they can make money off of. She was clearly the biggest talent.

Angelina's camp did not really agreed on signing the AGT Contract even from the start coz it was stipulated that winners are automatically tied with Syco Music Label. How ever, there may have been an alternative agreement that was made coz Simon needs Angelina to be in the AGT-The Champs 2nd Season. Angelina just agreed to join for international publicity. That's precisely the reason why Angelina's Song Bohemian Rhapsody was not in the AGT page coz it was labeled on Angelina's own music label.
