We took it into our home and from almost being dead, it became strong and over the years has become a part of the family. He is free to run away if he wants, but im sure he feels the same connection to us as we do to him, and thats what keeps him around

It's not that he doesn't care because he's smaller, kangaroos get tired too, and they know when you sit down and stop you're just catching your breath. he and his brothers would have done the same hundreds of times between play fights. You can tell he's playing, because when he puts his weight onto his tail he *could* kick really high and hard, but he's hardly lifting his feet. As others have said, this is actually pretty awesome.
