This message was SPOT ON!!! I struggled soooooooooooo bad with approval addiction. Having a mother who suffered from alcoholism...father committed suicide when I was 13. I suffered from a desperate need to be loved and wanted by people. Now at 47...I KNOW WHO I AM IN CHRIST..it took me me a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng time to finally realize that I AM BELOVED BY GOD...but I can send this message to my daughter and friends who may still struggle with this. Ms.Beth...thannnnnnk you for being completely honest about what we do even as CHRISTIANS TO SEEK LOVE AND APPROVAL FROM MAN!!!!! I definitely will send this message out my sister friends to share this message

I find it so clarifying how Jesus, quoting Deuteronomy to Satan when He is tempted in the wilderness, said: "It is written 'Worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.''" (Mt 4:10, Lk 4:8) And later, how Jesus teaches that "you cannot serve two masters..." (Mt 6:24, Lk 16:13)

Do you have and teach the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues?
I think (as growing up Catholic that my approval started in the church fearing God if I dont do whats right., I will go to hell,, . so that where my approval seeking came from.. not Gallup poll..
