- How to make a 4ft coffin/casket spray
We used:
3 blocks of oasis
Floral Foam tray
Waterproof floristry tape
Flowers:
Leather leaf, thelaspi, ruscus, eucalyptus
A mix of fresh flowers

We make these the day before the funeral so they are as fresh as possible and deliver as soon as the funeral home opens so we can assure they are there and safe.

I love this arrangement, you are super talented. I'm not sure if you have time,but you really need to teach how to make different floral arrangements. Have a Floral School on CZcams and upload the videos. Only the active students will be able to access these videos and you charge monthly for the classes. Also have you ever done a video on flower math and how to charge per stem and how to make a profit?

Great video! I am doing the flowers for my daughter's funeral which will be in January. Have you any ideas for dark purple flowers please? I'm thinking maybe hellebores, but other than crocus, which I think will be too delicate, I'm stumped.

Hiya! Yes you can make a silk one, they can be very expensive with premium stems though, but you can actually rent them out. Xxx

Hi lovely! Sorry if this is a little late. Funeral directors have non slip pads for the coffin to put the flowers on, so you don’t need to worry about this side of things at all xxx

Oh wow that’s amazing! I started off with a floristry job at my local florists and gained experience. I also did a course, but CZcams is also just as helpful, but you have to get your own flowers in. But as long as you do lots of practicing, taking lots of pictures for social media you are on to a winner xxx

Just a question, do the 3 blocks affect the height a lot?
By me the height restriction for the coffin spray is 24 inches because of the size of the hearses.
I would absolutely love to do them this way but I would be terrified they’d knock the flowers!

Hi lovely! I used to do them without the 3rd brick on top and found that the spray looked flat and I had to use more flowers and foliage to get the shape. I’ve been using the 3rd brick for 4 years now and have never had a problem with them in the hearse. My family own funeral homes and hearses as well and it’s never been a problem, so I personally wouldn’t worry about it xxx 😘

Hi Kura! This is a very good question. I haven’t been asked this before. There is definitely a method, but no precision involved. I would say that when you have based your oasis with foliage, where you then place your flowers, they should be the same length as the foliage they are being placed into xx
