This is a Singles match with all rules in place. I'm playing as Rey Mysterio against the toughest wrestler in the game, Brock Lesnar. The difficulty is SMACKDOWN (which is the hardest difficulty). This is one encounter to watch! Hope you guys like it!

This game had the best roster of all & this time was the best in wwe from 2000-2004. Seriously today's games have much better graphics but they don't have those dominant wrestlers that once were in wwe.
Saharsh Tripathi lol what!? With all the legends 2K18 has it's by far the best and deepest roster ever, it’s not even close. On paper, HCTP has one of the weakest roster of all the series.

Rey Mysterio had 9/10 on Technique, means you would have more skills to counter your opponent moves
brock lesnar also has a very high technique rating (9.5/10), so there's basically no competitive advantage...

if you know there is a cheap way to gain victory in normal single match Season mode. pull/drag your opponent out of the mat, keep pummeling him until the referee count to 9 then quickly run to get inside the ring. you would win via Count Out.

This game was my first Smackdown game and it is still the best. The roster is great and the skills is spot on. Now days... Everyone has too high score. It's stupid to have everyone so high. Cena and Brock should be really high and the rest should not be so high. I don't like Cena but they have always booked him very strong. The game should reflect the real life booking on their score.

TBGAMINGYT YT because the dumbasses are motion capturing everything ... instead of making it by computer like they used to ... hence the slow, boring zero impact and lame gameplay of todays games ... god, why cant they just release ONE game thats all im asking for, one fucking game and it can even be a spin off i dont care ... just make it with HCTP famous and fast paced gameplay and physics with todays graphics and roster (even tho it sucks, but im ok with it because they cant get all the old guys back due to license and benoit and stuff)... thats all im asking for ... is it so much to ask ??

Back when Brock Lesnar was a monster to fear.Now in the 2K games the likes of John Cena,Roman Reigns,Seth Rollin,and just to name a few are the strongest.Not Undertaker,Brock,HHH,Kane,Big Show.

I've played as Rey Mysterio on level Smackdown! in season mode and fuck is it hard. Managed to go undefeated
Steve Murray someone requested to do a whole season using Rey on SD difficulty. I've been contemplating doing it and uploading it on the channel but don't think everyone will be willing to sit through an entire playthrough and watch every match full length...
Gaming Senseii yeah took me a while to do it. A tip though, ask Stephanie McMahon for a tag title shot and have undertaker for a tag partner. Tag him in and have him do all the work otherwise down the line you get a shot at the titles but the game picks a partner for you and you might end up with some one really crappy.
Steve Murray that's actually a great tip. Although it doesn't have to be the undertaker right? If I mix up the rosters it can be any heavyweight with a high rating?
Gaming Senseii sure it can. I always keep the rosters as they are but if you get someone from RAW and put them on smack down then you could have them. Plus I think it speeds up your WWE title shot because the tag title shot doesn’t happen until after backlash, but if you request it straight away the tag title storyline is out of the way.

The svr series were awesome too (up until 2008).
The 2k series have a lot of good stuff going on but they just don't feel the same. It's a little too realistic and I don't like that. I wanna feel like I'm playing a wrestling game and not a wrestling simulator.

Hands down one of the best wrestling games ever, but its no fun watching you run and cheat the entire match, you would have been better off going down fighting. This is probably the best big/little man matchup the game offers, but if you had took your time you could have beat him without all of that, I've done it before.

Rashid Khan either keep running all the time, but that will take too long. Best thing is to practice your reversals. Know ur opponent's reversal position, then be ready to press L2 + R2.

1. Go outside ring and taunt untill you attain a finisher
2. Go in ring and weaken opponent
3. Perform 619
4. Repeat steps 1,2 and 3 till you win
It becomes tedious to watch really fast!
