One of the things that have always amazed me. Kestrel was able to have two very unnatural children, a fire scales, and a fire less child. I know this must be due to Chameleon not being a real skywing but I can’t help and wonder, what if a skywing took that paper? Would they also be able to sire more fire scales and or fire less?
Basically usually forescales are twins and probably if they enchanted themselves to using the scroll but basically firescale and fire less comes in pairs like firescales suck all the fire from their twin and their twin then ends up with no fire

they mention that possibility in the books, and Chameleon states that the math don't add up, cause all other firescales in history had normal skywing parents.

Poor kestrel went through so much trauma because scarlet was a insane and horrible queen
My fav line from Peril “So its perfectly fine for his queen to use him as a weapon but it’s the worst thing in the world for my queen to use me as one”

@@volrosku.6075 yea he said that turtle should’ve told queen coral about his powers so the sea wings could win the war
@@Notluvs_mal yeah i was fairly certain though its sorta something Qibli might've brought up though more in a context of helping the seawings than the war directly.
Edit: given Qibli sometimes can speak without fully thinking it through see comments about Darkstalker's "friendship" enchantment when talking to winter.

Kestrel tried so hard to save Peril, it’s so sad because in the end Scarlet got her, and Kestrel died after finally meeting Peril again..
and never met sky. both of Kestrel's kids became heros in their own right despite her barely knowing either and I hope in whatever beyond Kestral is proud of them both
that split part was so cool!

damn this is amazing! not sure if it was intentional, but the motif of scarlet flicking her head with an evil smile at the end of the chorus is cool, queen scarlet finding both kestrel and peril
I love this map!! The first WIP introduced me to this song and AJR in general when I was younger. It’ll always bee nostalgic for me :) these animators all did an amazing job.
I just gotta compliment arkhao, The backgrounds, characters, proportions, AMAZING. Great work to the rest of you too, amazing MAP!

Did you knowperils brother is sky for thoseof you who doesn't know who he is he is a skywing with odd colored scales and no fire he is in legends dragonslayer and the flames of hope
So Soo when kestrel drowned the dragonet did it actually died because where did sky come from then
You would think that, the twins that have no-fire & too much fire, the no-fire kid should be fireproof, because how’d it survive in the egg if it wasn’t? Their sibling would have just burnt them to a crisp
I’ve always wondered… how did Peril not burn through her egg/burn sky in the egg?
Something I realized is there's no ice wing which gives away that the dragonet profisy is fake because night wings hate ice wing
