I was playing at this table when this happened. The kid was literally walking away when Brad gave him the $200. He was beyond moved by the gesture and he IMEMDIATELY tried to repay Brad after the First hand he won. This wasn't about poker, the kid just wanted to meet his hero. When he racked up we told him to hold out a $1 dollar chip when he cashed out so no matter what happens in the future, he will always have a "Bradley Dollar" from the time he played with him.

I’m glad he tried to pay back Brad after that hand. The kid got morals, especially in the poker/gambling world, it’s like a code we live by, there are unwritten rules to abide by, separates the class acts to non class acts.
The way the kid said he used all his money to play with Brad genuinely broke my heart, Brad is nothing but class man.
He was manipulating him to get him to roll him. It worked
This once it went perfectly. Was reminded of “Stacked with Daniel Negreanu” where if you go broke in came, Daniel stakes you and gives a word of encouragement.

What a wholesome episode. I remember my first cash session being a disaster. I play tournaments and had a decent start to poker. A week before I came second in a £40 tournament for £750. I took all of that to a £1/£2 cash game and lost all in about 3 hours. I learned a very valuable lesson about bank roll and winnings management that day 😂
