Haywire5714 Mang0 would have got beaten HBox just played way too well this tournament and the statistics in wins against each other is 38-39 so if they went against each other it would have been 39-39 and I'm sure HBox would have won since Mang0 got 3-0d and 3-1d by HBox this tournament

Plup started so shaky, but he was perfect as it went on in the FD & Yoshi's games. His mentality looks so much better now.
Sucks that he has to change characters, though. You're bound to start slow when that's the case.
Props to Plup. Mango definitely threw away those early leads in game 2 and 3 though. Sucks when you're feeling it and get too overconfident and suddenly you have the same amount of stocks.

I'm glad you're not bias towards them. Though a better point is if this is the only game they ever practice the rest of us won't take a set off of them. At least you might be lucky to beat them once. I've been busy with other games.

It might be totally random, but from checking a few it seems to be a measure of how good the matchup is going to be. The closer in skill the two players are, the higher the number will be.

Let me make a real comment this time. I don't get the impression these two are underperforming. If you have a favorite towards Mango and the fact he lost then he might be happy with the result. Anyone ask how stressful it is to win Grand Finals? Plup tryin to go against Hbox after being through all of that? I'm pretty sure Mango thought 'good luck, kid' on his way down the stairs. I might be wrong about presuming that. Though I don't have the time to get that good. Wish I did.

I really don't understand why people keep saying Mang0 is washed and that he was at his best when he was in his "prime" seven years ago. He is still top 3 in the game and he is still able to win major events like goml and big house. Like Mang0 is still clearly good at this game smh. The only reason why he isn't as dominant as he used to be is because other top players are getting better, not because Mang0 got worse.
Is mango not like how he used to be bc of him using mostly falco. I think his fox is what got him to be number 1 back in the day.
actually i have the opposite feelings, mang0's been playing very well for the past year or so, feels like he got his jam back
zain hbox and mang0 are the main contenders for no 1 this year imo
@@nathanlue7111From a very unbiased point of view, I would predict that it'd be a toss-up between Zain and Hbox but I'd lean more towards Hbox cuz Zain got stomped by Plup last weekend and he still hasn't beaten Axe ever in his life. Also, as much as I love Mang0, he is just a little too inconsistent to be #1. Like he missed out of top 8 at like 3 majors last year and he is kind of a player that can realistically lose to almost anyone in the top 30 if he isn't playing well. If he wants to be a legit contender for the #1 spot, he needs to play like an 8/10 in at least 70% of the tournaments that he is gonna enter. People like to get their hopes up super high for him cuz he is the fan-favorite but realistically, I don't see him as #1 unless he can literally destroy everyone like he did at birthday bash in almost all the majors that he'll attend. Leffen is another contender for the #1 spot but he srsly needs to stop dropping out just because he isn't in his "best shape" tbh. Plus, he just got 9th at summit so he isn't really starting off too strong. Plup has a slim chance but we'll see what he can bring to the table.
