Theres two people on the microphone one guy is a hiker that speaks to you and another goat humanoid hybrid that can mimic human voices.. thats why it got pretty confusing talking to that hiker. There are multiple endings.. you can save the hiker and yourself. The hiker can die by a bear and you survive. The goatman basically follows the hiker and the hiker follows your calls but is basically a bait to get to you. Hope that summed up most of it it.

The hiker got killed and the Goatman tried to get the park ranger's location but fails and ends up saying "See you next time"meaning that when the Goatman finds a new hiker he'll use him to try to get his location. When the Goatman asks "should I enter the mine?" You say yes, giving the hiker time to get to the different tower if he didn't die of course. If you succeed the hiker says "You lead me to a different tower! I thought you weren't joking. I'm safe now, Thanks" Then you know you saved him and yourself.
This game was always too scary for me. When I watched this as a kid and I heard the monster mimic the voices... that REALLY got to me for some reason. I think it proved to me that the monster was intelligent and had further intent to harm.
Don't let the guy come to tower 2 because his that thing ok let him go to tower 4 and those eyes u saw in the lake is the thing his watching u and ur tower 2 not 4 don't keep putting on the light

In this game theres a monster that mimics the hiker. You have to get the hiker to you and keep the monster away. The monster will speak in calm and uncompleted sentences while the real hiker will sound more scared. That's also why he'll appear in two different locations when he talks to you.

Ok never mind, i watched it again, and he was in Tower 4, but that doesn't make much sense because of all the trees, and according to the map, there aren't many between 4 and the lake, but plenty between 2 and the lake.
