- Crossroads Park in Deshler, Ohio, and Fostoria's Iron Triangle Railpark are two of the best places to watch trains in Ohio! On this day in May 2022, we decided to split our time between these two exciting railfan locations.

Was in Deshler the other day and rail traffic is busy.
I'm going to be in town tomorrow
That's a lot of locomotives in Deshler for the first train, never seen anything like that but I did get to see one of those yard pilot locomotives not too long ago in Deshler, that place is my main spot to go watch trains but it's like a 1 hour and a half drive over there from where I'm at

I was there! I remember I saw a guy flying a Drone over the grass in the East side of the park by the CSX North turnoff onto the C&O.
I was in a Blue Older Durango and I just saw it/me in the parking lot toward the end when you did the WB Overfly of the NS train. I was parked pointing due east, so that was just after I got there that day. 😂

We are going back mid June to break in a new RAV4. Make a run to Fosty and next day shoot up to Bellevue and Marblehead! 🙂

I never been to Oklahoma! When I eventually get a chance to go there, where's the best place to watch trains? Any recommendations?
Wonderful quality footage, I notice you're also using a canon G50 to film and I'm curious what settings do you use?
Thanks! I think for the most part I'm using a lot of the default settings. I try to record at 60 frames per second to help make the trains less blurry since they move pretty quickly. I can't think of any other settings I change off the top of my head.

I looked back at my video files, and it seems like we were there from about 2:30 to 6:00 on the day we recorded these videos. To be honest, I'm not sure if there's a particular time of day that's better than others.
