Blue is nice, The sage looks good, too. But my personal fave is the ice white with the black rims.

I've got the Ice White. I was parking my Cruz when the guy next to me - a Mercedes - was walking back to his car. He stopped and asked me what this was. Checked out the front, the back, the tonneau, the bed, even the interior! Said he was thinking of getting rid of his Benz, and really liked the look of the Cruz.
So no, Rob, it's not the Stone Blue, it's the Cruz.
I've only seen one other Cruz in person - white. When I found mine - white, it was the only Cruz the dealer had, so white it was. I had intended to check out other colors, but there were just none out there.
No regrets on the color, except that now it seems every truck I see is white. Darn!
Everyone has different tastes and likes when it comes to color choice on a new vehicle. Personally, I think black is the richest looking, but I also know it is very hard to keep clean and sharp looking, just as you mentioned. I just purchased a new Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited last week. I have the Phantom Black but like all of them equally. Mine turns heads and was really popular in the Showroom too.

The California sand replaced Desert Sand and it looks great in west tx.
I always choose piano colors… they are timeless. It’s why standard tuxedos are white and black.
All other colors will go in and out of fashion, but black and white never go out of fashion.
It’s why I chose white on my SEL. The contrast with the black trim is fantastic.
Also, being in the south… all other colors are TOO hot.
I had the sand color at the top of my list. I wanted either the sand or blue when shopping. I got Hampton gray because the dealer had black or gray. I've had a black Highlander (looked sharp, but showed everything. ) I've had a pearl white Ford Fusion pHEV (so satisfying to wash that car. It also shows everything. ) Living and working in the Houston area I can say that the gray is a really good choice. This gray doesn't look dirty in the shade or from a distance in the sun.

I've only seen 2 other SCs in the wild. I have Blue Stone. The others were Desert Sand and Sage Gray. Both looked great.

I saw the sand color-in pgh pa- thought it looked really bad! More like a cream color. I ordered the sage gray, but in didn’t come in so I got the black, my Santa fa was black so I really didn’t want black again but the black paint on the Santa Cruz is soooo much better !!! Had my a year already an go to the brushless car wash at least 3 times a week no marks or swirls!! Thanks for all the videos!

Had a black truck looked fantastic when clean (which only lasted a few hours) you know dust and pollen settles on it. You don't even have to drive it to get it looking dirty. I said never again. I have the Sage Gray SC Which is number one in my book. I was looking to buy a Maverick when I saw a Desert Sand SC out in the wild and I was hooked and couldn't be happier.
Blue Stone is cool. It reminds me of a color AMC had- it’s a retro early 70’s color. My color choice for number one!
Where I live played a big part in the color I chose for my 2023 SC, I live in the desert and white is the cool one temperature wise. If you ever get into a black or dark colored vehicle in Phoenix Arizona in mid summer you'll quickly discover what I mean. It's insanely hot and takes the air conditioner forever to cool down a dark painted vehicle. If I lived somewhere that had lot's of snow I would choose any other color except white for the visibility. I would never choose black regardless of where I live, I spend enough time keeping my black motorcycle looking clean and it's a lot smaller than the SC.

I was told that desert sand was discontinued early on. Dont know why. I liked that color
looking to factory order one of these fairly soon. Initially was gonna go with blue stone, but will be choosing hampton grey as a tribute to my beloved 2005 dark grey chrysler sebring which I literally drove till the engine died @ 250k. RIP grey gecko your spirit lives on .. and you'll soon be reincarnated as a santa cruz

I chose the white living up north it’s my Storm Trooper great contrast with the black accent colors and tinted windows against the white and always looks clean
But Hyundai did well with all these earthy colors on the Santa Cruz

If I ever bought a black car again I have a number of people that I’ve told to shoot me… Most importantly, my wife Black Lincoln. I have the blue stone SC and I absolutely love it. Simply does not show any dirt at all!
Best to worst for me. Sage grey, Blue stone, Hampton grey, Ice white, Phantom black, and Mojave sand.

Just bought mu California Sand recently. I have to say we love it even though it wasn't our first color choice. Oddly when I look to build a SC online now that color is not an option.

Great content. I have Majave Sand. I wanted the Sage Grey which is my favorite. I wanted it in memory of my army vet. The black trim is hard to maintain. The piano black in the interior is always dirty. That's my only dislikes. Anyway, wheels beat heels. I'm riding. We ought to form a Santa Cruz premiere prototype club. 🤣 They are eye catching icons.

Dealer had the trim level I wanted in white. Took it home on a test drive. It didn't match my white Veloster N. Can't have that. I ended up waiting on my sage gray.

None taken. We all have preferences.
A very biased “review.” Color is subjective. Which color shows what dirt is also subjective in many aspects. If someone likes the lines and the overall look of this vehicle, the VALUE (lightness/darkness) of a chosen color will have a major influence in how much the lines are accented. The contrasting black trim will be de-accentuated by black paint and white will have the most contrast. If you like the way the black trim influences the look you will be most happy with one of the mid-value colors. My personal favorite is sage, because it’s about in the middle of the value range, and is also pleasing and natural looking without “popping.” Yes, it’s the color I own.
Of course it's biased. My honest opinion is the only one I have👍
