Nice. You solved one of my problems. I work with nappa a lot but at times thr hide is way too soft. I love your last tip on how you control the temper of the leather with tokonole on the flesh side. Great idea. 👍 Thanks
I use the needle bottles and I learned that on this channel. I hink it is extremely convenient compared to applying it with a finger tip. The hardest part of it was getting the stuff into the small bottle openings but my nurse wife gave me a syringe without the needle tip and I use that to pump the Tokonole into the bottle. Easy. I have also used competing product Toko Pro, which is similar but a bit thinner. I prefer Tokonole though.
Glad to help🐗 Sure, syringe is the best way to overcome this issue. I agree, bottle is the most convenient way to apply.
Enchanté monsieur tomas et tes chats , ton travail et excellent ,et bien fait cotinue dans cet immense mer de maroquinerie , de créativité et de passion
Thanks man, that's what I was looking for 🤙
Thanks Tomas for the info.. Best wishes.
My pleasure!🐗
Thanks my friend!
Gracias por compartir su experiencia y conocimientos, saludos cordiales desde Chile 🇨🇱
Thanks for watching! 🐗
Have you ever airbrushed it onto leather, thinned with water? Special circumstances im dealing with.
Replace the refillable marker pen with a refillable ripper felt pad bottle like this one: Molotow Dripstick at any good art suppliers - the choice is varied and the top can be a ball bearing type if you like!
Cool idea, it might work
@@strhandmade it works perfectly for me on a dilution of 1 part Tokinole to 11/2 parts water 1:1.5 or even 1:2.
Would you perhaps have any tips on paint pens that would be useful?
Thx for info!
Glad to help🐗
Nice
Gob job bro
Great video, Tomas! I've been using a marker for Tokonole for a while now. The first marker I got was the same one you have in this video and I didn't love it. If you search for Grog or Molotow markers, they are much better to work with.
Thanks for sharing, will keep in mind. But i would say for me the best way with bottle.
Можно наносить финиш на токоноле ?
не могу сказать, непробувал
Can I apply Tokonole after I applied Giardini edge paint instead of using the Giardini finish coat?
I dont know, never used agents you mentioned. Just try :)
Thanks for the handy tips! I used the needle bottle for my glue. However, it has dried on the tip of my bottle. How do you normally prevent/fix that?
I promise you to show how to overcome this issue in my next video on upcoming Sunday :)
Put the little rubber cap back on the tip.
@@strhandmade Thanks Thomas, I've seen that video, and it really helps!
@@babetteleblanc7620 Thanks I'll take note of that!
I am constantly fighting getting the Tokonole on the grain side of the leather and leaving unsightly discolorations.
This is why you need such things as bottle with applicator, to apply Tokonole in a tiny amount. In my case for Buttero leather its no problem, it cleans easily. But on Pueblo it leaves marks, so I apply very tiny amount and for sure take more coution
@@strhandmade I've gone to the needle tip bottle. It helps, i just need to continue practicing 👍
@@christmasco.6015 I was struggling with this too, on the back of straps, etc. I eventually found that a very light sanding with sandpaper removed all of the tokonole from the backside quickly and left a nice crisp edge with little effort.
