    This is a heated subject I realize that and truthfully think everyone should make their own decision based on how they feel . Don’t let others sway or pressure you into stuff . I see both sides on this and agree with a lot of points hence why I waited so long . For my lifestyle and what I do for “work” it just made sense for my own plans and future . I could ask to keep the comments tame but we all know that ain’t happen . Everyone feels their opinion is correct so have at it .

      I was also hesitant to get it, but I am that way with any shot or medication. I did a lot of reading up on the vaccines. Also, my brother-in-law is a physician who has read a lot of studies/reputable articles as well. I have several family members who are high risk for various reasons, and because of my weight, I am also considered high risk. I weighed it all out, and decided that the benefit of the vaccine outweighed the risk of what could happen if I (or a loved one) got COVID.

    I'm in my 60's, have some health issues, elevated risk, so when the vaccine came out I was one of the first in line. Got the 2nd Pfizer shot mid-March. Drove in the worst snowstorm in 17 years to get there. Effects were minor. I had much worse from the pneumonia and shingles vaccines. I've felt fine since. I took the advice of my doctors (MD and pulmonologist), I trust them more than I do the government, media or youtube commenters. But when you're young and healthy, you don't see a doctor every 3 months like me so you don't have that strong connection and trust level. And you've got a much better chance at surviving this than I do. We all have different risk levels based on our age, health, and lifestyle. It isn't a one-size-fits-all deal. Adam made his decision, you make yours. Relax.

I respect each person's choice. The people who do that are listening more to fear than reality & health concerns are no reason to treat people like they're anything less than human. My sister wanted me to get it before being around my niece and nephew. They have congenital heart problems & she's worried about what Covid might do to them.

I’m going to mention why I believe this - why would scientists spend countless of hours developing a vaccine for it to hurt us? It absolutely makes no sense, that would be a waste of their time and they’ll be the ones having to fix their vaccine over and over again, which I imagine is not something they would like to do because they must be tired of COVID-19 and the countless of deaths there have been, if they wanted to hurt us they would’ve just made no vaccine at all. Also, the theory that the “government is trying to control us by putting chips inside of us” is also not valid, since how would a chip fit inside of a vaccine? And the government already has all of our information, literally everything, so there’s no point in having to “track us” with a chip when they literally have access to everything about us. I’ve done my research and enjoy reading and analyzing different theories, however, these are not valid if you think logically about them.

    • @softestbaek
      @softestbaek Před 3 lety

      @@New_Disciple-G3101 That is how a vaccine absolutely is meant to work. Spike proteins must be targeted in order to protect ourselves even more against COVID-19, since if we don’t get the vaccine, Spike proteins would let the virus inside of our bodies even easier, which would lead the virus to attack us much more easily. However, the vaccine targets these Spike proteins directly so they don’t let the virus inside the “barrier” (spike proteins inside of the cell membrane) and if we do get COVID-19 we won’t have fatal reactions. Plus, the point of a vaccine is to have the virus inside of it so your body can experience some symptoms and get used to it. This will help your body know how to react if you do get the virus and help your body recognize it. Spike protein in vaccination and infection are not the same and are very different. May I know your source to confirm all these “facts”?
      Here is mine:
      “The spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 allows the virus to bind to and infect cells, making it an ideal target for vaccine development. Recent studies suggested that the spike protein produced during infection alone might cause cardiovascular damage in COVID-19 patients. While the three COVID-19 vaccines authorized for emergency use in the U.S. induce the cells to produce the spike protein, the protein generated through vaccination behaves differently from the spike protein produced in infection. Clinical trials and ongoing vaccination campaigns, which have vaccinated more than 890 million people worldwide, demonstrated that COVID-19 vaccines are very safe and effective at preventing the disease.” (Healthfeedback.org)

I didn’t hesitate and got the vaccine the day it was available to me. On a side note your daily video’s helped get me through some really tough day’s over the last year, so thank you.

I've had both Pfizer vaccines without any side effects at all. My father had Covid, he was asymptomatic. But because he was extremely high risk due kidney failure he had a stroke from the extra strain. He died in May. The UK is struggling with the new Delta strain, Covid can be unnoticeable, mild, nasty or kill. It's long term symptoms for millions are brutal and debilitating. We really do have first World problems when we have the choice to not have a vaccine that can protect so many people and elsewhere people are dying from the lack of vaccines.

Also, I think if you wanted the Moderna or Pfizer as long as you have your vaccine card you could get your second shot in California. I don't think it matters. I had general malaise with the second dose. Not sick but not feeling great and it only lasted a day.

If you see any side effect you normally see them in the first month or so…. From a safety perspective though, we have given nearly 300 million doses in the US alone with very minimal and few side effects. There will always be people with different biochemistry who suffer or even die from any treatment you can imagine. That said, it is what a 100? A few hundred? Maybe even a few thousand out of 300 million doses. The disease this vaccine prevents killed over 600,000 Americans in 30 million infections. Do you understand statistics AT ALL??? That means the vaccine is THOUSANDS of times safer than getting the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. It is not even close. Have you ever had Measles? How about Mumps? Smallpox? Rubella? There have been no long-term studies over 20 years with normal vaccines and no long-term studies period with this covid vaccine. Stats are dependent on accurate inputs - do you understand that at all? If you believe those inputs you have your eyes and ears closed. It is a verifiable fact that vaccines had nothing to do with the eradication of diseases like smallpox polio.... NOTHING. The data is quite clear that these diseases were dramatically decreasing well before the vaccinations were introduced and when they were there wasn’t even a blip on the graph. Scenario: If you are vulnerable, and I walk out of a hot-zone, lets say an isolation room, or an EMS call, or some unknown but likely potential location of concern, can me and my super duper vax come into close proximity up to the point of contact with you as one would have with a close family member?, sharing communal service utensils at meals?, breathing within the 6` of risk?, walking on the floors, sitting on furniture?, and the most important: OFFSHEDDNG fine particulate matter from my exterior clothing such as that which WILL be deposited onto my clothes if I were exposed to it a short while ago???,..or should I be CAREFUL?
