    ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
In this video, Daniel looks at polygamy in the Bible. Is polygamy a sin according to the bible? If it is a sin, then why did God allow Solomon to have 1000 wives? Well, these types of questions can all be answered if you understand the difference between God's permissive will and His perfect will. Do you know the difference? Do you still sometimes sin? Of course, you do, because no one is perfect. And God allows it, right? Did he give you free choice after all? He allows it (permissive will) even though it is not His will (perfect will). Now when we look at scripture, there are many things that happened that are not part of God's perfect will, but He allowed it. Polygamy is one of them. Watch the full video to understand this better.

But my husband was raised by very pious Mormons, and I told him 23 years ago when we first started dating that God didn't want him to learn about him that way. After all these years he still considers himself agnostic. I've tried to show him how God has been there with us. I ask for a prayer 🙏 to help him be saved, before it's too late.

I also lot a few month ago, my best schoolfriend (even schooltime is quite long ago). And he also didn't believe and I hope that I will see him in heaven again! He had a good heart, but went through a hard time. I just trust God! In the bible there is one passage about the poor Lazarus and the rich man. And Lazarus was in heaven, it is not written, that he was believer. So that is why I have hope and also trust, because some people , just have a hard time here on this world. And they don't have a fair chance.

Hi, I, after checking out your channel, just wanted to say that I personally believe that playing shooter games where you have to kill others is wrong and a sin, because as Jesus said that if you look at a woman lustfully, you have already committed adultery with her in your heart. So I believe that playing games where you shoot and kill others would be the same. He also said that if you hate a brother in your heart, it is like you have already committed murder against him. I also used to play fortnite cod etc. but I recommend turning away from games such as that. I, infact, still play games including rocket league or fifa or something less violent. GOD bless everyone

God never approved Solomon to have 1,000 wives. He warned Solomon NOT TO do this, as well as the dangers which would come with this bad behavior.
God did allow it, BUT Solomon's end was in ALL senses and on all levels the disaster God warned him it would be - and all his children from the beginning to date. Therefore, this was and always will be against Christian law and God's will. Like any othet sin you will reap the punishment, ad Solomon did..

@@squidy2902 Hi Isaac, In fact God did warn Solomon up front about this, and further more the Christian law even stated that you should not have more than one wive, for the very reason it impacted Solomon in the end. The law stated that the only situation you were aloud to have more than one wife, was when a man's own brother passed away, & he had to take care of this family, where he could then take his brother's widow as a second wife.
God warned that having more than one wife would tesult in a man following / falling for the strange religions, idols and other anti-Christ principles of the applicable wives.
This, over time, was exactly what happened to Solomon.
He participated, with his wives, in the worse of religions and even build idols for these fake gods, & even killed / offered some of his own children in these "sessions".
For thiscreason, when he died, God completely dismantled his legacy and he literally left nothing of ilhis once great kingdome behind.

now spiritually,. think of yourself as Solomon with the Lords teaching as your 'wife' the only one you should think on...not 100s of others
T he wisdom in Solomons wives in this day and age is, you are Solomon, or everyone of us is Solomon,...and every distracting thing is a 'wife' from drink, drugs, gambling, following sport, facebook ,instragram, all the pagan traditions, that if we admit most if not all of us indugled in,all like a wife to us,..all leading us away from The Lord ,exactly what each of Solomons wives did.
to help us all understand Scripture and the deep deep message we can put ourselves in the shoes of those Sciptural Characters to grasp the spiritual meaning,..to understand The bible you got to understand its a Book of Prophesy Spiritually it hasnt yet ...its about to, but hasnt yet!

Running for your life from someone who is trying to kill you, does not equate to divorce! In fact, he had Abner bring Michal back to him, when Abner decided to defect from Ish Bosheth! If Moses wrote the majority of the Pentateuch (He lived 1525 bc - 1406 bc)
How did Abraham (Lived 2091 BC - 1991 BC) Had two wives
Jacob (Lived 2025 bc - 1859 bc) had 4 wives
How did they know it was "wrong" if they were pre Pentateuch books?
Is there any evidence in the Bible were God communicated with Abraham and said "Only have one wife."

Notice even Job (JOB 31) made a covenant with his eyes not lust after women, but we learned this in the sermon on the mount from Jesus (Matt 5), it tells you how much the patriarchs lived by faith and most importantly revered God, I think that is why the patriarchs and other men and women of God are applauded in Hebrews 11, I mean most of whom did not have the law nor the gospels but they were still righteous in God's sight

I think some and actually most of the events in Genesis were prophetic-foreshadow and symbolic, like Abraham's two wives; Sarah-Isaac & Hagar-Ishmael were a foreshadow of the Law and The Gospel (Old v New Covenant), Also the patriarchs were prophets that is why they were in communication with God either through dreams and visions and also through visitations like for Abraham's case when he met God in Genesis 18
