They finally made Elton John’s fever dream a reality! Seriously though, this was a really rockin’ scene! Who would have thought “Alice in Wonderland” and Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” would go so well together?
I love how much the development of each character in this movie Meena: Has grown so much more confident and owns her roles Ash: Doesn’t accept being treated as less than she is Jhonny: he’s a lot more open Roseta: she’s also a lot more confident Gunther: still his awesome piggy powered self
Here's a nice detail. Throughout the entire movie. All of the people who auditioned for the previous movie make cameos. The wildebeast(I think that's what he was he sung "You're my Butterfly) he was on the billboard in the city. The three bunny girls are playing the guitars. The five red panda sisters were in the audience when Ash was playing. And a few others are actually in this opening. You gotta look in the city when they just arrive for some more of them.
Yeah! It’s probably fur dye. They seem to have the same body type as the audition ones and There’s three of them too. If those aren’t the bunnies from the first one those are definitely an Easter egg to them.

Meena's fear almost held her back from doing what she loved for a lot of the original movie, so it's very wholesome to see how much she's enjoying herself in this number. Also, Johnny is looking quite dapper in his role as the Mad Hatter.
Meena's development will always be the best part of the first movie. She was the heart of the group and seeing her evolve from a shy individual with stage-fright to a confident singer who could care less about her fears was great. I also liked the new angle with this movie, wherein her conflict this time round is the fact she's never had a boyfriend and is made to sing a duet with Darius. Someone, who she's obviously not eager to work with, due to his narcissism. Alfonso was such a great supporting character in this movie. Hell, all of them were. Clay had a lot of emotional baggage and I was happy to see him learn to move on. Its what his wife would've wanted, after all. Nooshy helped Johnny to improve his dancing skills, to the point where even Klaus had to admit defeat in their final confrontation. As for Porsha, while a little bratty and self-centred at first, she really came into her element, and she's such a nice addition to the cast. All in all, this movie was amazing. A lot more of their universe was explored and I'm really happy to see the group expand with each movie.

An Alice in Wonderland reference! Amazing and entertaining. I did an Alice in Wonderland rock opera at the magic theater downtown long ago. I was the Carpenter and the Jabberwocky.
I played in an Alice in wonderland play to along time ago. I recall being the dodo bird responsible for the race but I had to share a costume with another cast (our group had three separate groups playing alice in wonderland) and I recall that me and the red cast dodo bird had to use something like a flamingo costume (the blue cast dodo bird had his own costume which was very fancy in comparison).
one thing that i barely noticed is that theyre ACTUALLY wearing the glow in the dark painting BEFORE you even see it like if you look reaall close you can see the outline and i think thats pretty cool

Those aren't the same bunny girls. The fur colors are different, and these ones are taller.
