Hi, I love this arrangement, and PTX makes every song special. Grammys for ) DAFT PUNK MEDLEY, ) DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUMB FAIRY, ) Jolene with Dolly Parton. Nominated for EVERGREEN on last years Christmas Album. I'd recommend Halleluiah, Bohemian Phapsody, The Prayer. Thanks !
Now THIS is the way this song was meant to be sung - with unbridled joy! I always get chills when I see the choir's feet because I know the glorious wall of sound that is coming.
So far they've won three Grammys and were just nominated for a 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!. They've come a long way since The Sing Off. I love them dearly and have been a Pentaholic since 2012. What a run it's been!
It won't surprise you to learn this arrangement has been adopted by a number of African Gospel choirs. I believe Kevin did the unique arrangement on this song.

Thanks for doing PTX!! If you're looking for something new from them, they just released another Christmas album...Holidays Around The World. Two of the songs have a video...Prayers For This World and Kid On Christmas ( feat Meghan Trainor). The rest on the album are audio only ( but you can find lyric vids out there and a visualizer vid on PTX's channel) and are really worth listening to. All of them feature other artists from around the world.
Last Christmas and Kid on Christmas are must do's. They are 2 of their newest songs.

Great reaction! Always here for Pentatonix, and any of Avi's solo work. My favourite is the Seven Layers recording of "All is Well," where Avi sings in a church in Utrecht, accompanied only by his guitar. The acoustics are stunning.

Pentatonix has released a Christmas EP / album every year since 2012, though 3 of those years it was a deluxe version of the previous year's album with some extra tracks and one year it was a "Best of Christmas" album. So for holiday music they have 1 EP, 6 albums, 3 deluxe versions of previous albums and 1 ""Best of". (They also have several EP / albums of cover songs and two albums of original songs. I don't want to suggest anything since I don't know what you have already heard but there must be something.
Kids on Christmas is their newest one ft. Meghan Trainor. It's really really good.

Pentatonix has the best Christmas covers (the way Voice Play has the best Halloween covers) and I can't understand why we still listen to the same old, depressing Christmas music on the radio stations (even though Pentatonix has a contract and has sold great Christmas albums for years) instead of this??!!

It's not a Christmas song by a longshot, but you should react to this original song by Avi Kaplan from the 11-song, all-original album "Floating on a Dream" that was released back in May. This live studio version of his song, "When I'm a Fool" was recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound in LA, produced by the album's producer Shooter Jennings (who you'll see playing the black Gibson SG), and featuring some of LA's best studio musicians.
