Are people taking to the street because they don't feel heard through traditional political channels? Does it signal a shift in our democracy? Are the right protections and limits in place? Steve Paikin hosts a live event with an expert panel and questions from the audience. Guests include: Patrick Brethour, editorials editor at The Globe and Mail; Jacqueline Kennelly, professor of sociology at Carleton University; Stephen Mensah, executive director of the Toronto Youth Cabinet; Caryma Sa'd, lawyer, journalist, and protest watcher; and Christine Van Geyn, Litigation Director for the Canadian Constitution Foundation.
