I can't believe the pain she was carrying, it is so heart breaking, wow, this is so deep, there are no words to express how much I hurt watching, RIP AMY
Let's take a quick break from brooding over how hurt and troubled and disturbed she was and just remember and appreciate how gorgeous, adorable, silly, funny, unique, caring, sweet, creative, talented and simply amazing in every way she was. Her legacy is so much than an alcoholic heart broken woman who was misunderstood. She was just a wonderful person and by far one of the best artists I have ever heard in my entire life. She is Amy fuckin Winehouse, the one and only.
In the Era I grew up in, alcoholism and drug abuse were not stigmatized like they are today. People were just coping with their problems. Psych meds were virtually non existent in the 60's and 70's.

It's sad that she's gone. She was a staggering talent, a genius I'd say. I really hope she's somewhere peaceful. She will live on, the music is wonderful. She was too.
+gm pm Its like haunting, once you listen to her voice, you can't stop. She is incredible.. She went through pretty tough times, if anyone haven't watch her documentary "Amy 2015" you should really see it. In my opinion it was suicide because she wasn't getting any better or she wasn't trully happy without alcohol, ( i totally understand her)she was off for 2 years from other drugs but she kept drinking that poison, she knew she would die after drinking that much. She didn't even wanted to be famous. Just art, her songs are true gift to us, it made her feel better sometimes writing about her emotions and singing, a true talent Rest in peace angel, you will not be forgotten.
It's been twelve years from now that we tragically lost the wonderful and talented Amy Winehouse. It still touches me every single time when I read or hear about her death. She was an amazing artist and performer of Jazz and Soul music. From her first Album 'Frank' to her world selling record 'Back to Black' she showed us her genius every single time, with her jazzy and flexible voice and her incredible and unique sound. Amy Winehouse was simply a true talent and a wonderful human being. Throughout her life she donated her money, music and time to many charities, as CARE, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Save the Children, Save the Music Foundation and Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, to just name a few. Even when her time on earth was short, with her timeless music Amy Winehouse inspired many of the top selling artist who are in the charts right now. And also millions of fans, like me. Thank you Amy.
Such a tragic loss. She really was just incredible. I think better than most people even realize. She never had the chance to get as good as she would have been. Without having to actually name anyone by name she is better than just about any of the so called singers out there today. She would have gone on to be one the Best!!

My God, Amy was not from this world and she left with no regrets. Love you Amy, thanks for existing and making the world a more colorful place with your wonderful voice! ❤🖤🔥
I as a musician feel she was the real deal. Her vocal improv for her jazz charts was just pure legend. Kindness emanated from her very soul, and so much joy came through in her music. She had originality and she was such a musician. It hurts all of us, but her life is a lesson to all of us to keep going on and getting help when we need it. Either way between a semi abusive father and druggie friends she had a hard life towards the end. She wanted to escape it as fame ate her life way. She did so much for music that we can now finally see.

Каждый раз слушаю и плачу под эту песню,до глубины души она поет. Я не была ее фанаткой, потому что раньше незнала.Только как год случайно услышала эту песню и влюбилась в нее.
I understood, she simply steal our soul, she is unique and unforgettable, she walk inside our hearts and leave the soul completely empty, personally she is alive inside of my heart 💜.
In every video that she sings this song you can tell how emotional she gets. i love when a musician writes about personal feelings. its what makes a song great and relatable and im so glad she had a part on this earth as a great musician/song writer.
Absolutely Amazing lady. I know how difficult it is to have a troubled mind. My late friend and I listened to you all the time. I lost my best friend in 2016 .I listen to you and it brings back memories of the good days. RIP Amy and clare. Love and miss you both so much you where both taken way to soon 💔💔
So sad that often what drives an artist to greatness is a great melancholy, that great sadness and the passion that goes along with it can be heard in this song a great deal. Such a tragedy that the great ones are driven to greatness by this great darkness but it is also what makes them live short lives as well.
Almost 13 years later and her spirit and voice live on. RIP angel ❤ every time she sang live it sounded a bit different so it’s like getting to hear a new version when you stumble across a different performance. I hope she’s up there singing with Tony Bennet having the best time and putting on a show for the heavens
all of her live performance videos give me chills. regardless of her life choices, she was never afraid to pour out her emotions. she always relives the memories that led to each song when she performs them.
The preciousness of time and life. Unforgiving time and circumstances. Amy became a part of our lives and she's forever gone now, no longer directly affecting the energies associated with things understood and felt. Indirectly her echo and residual energy blows on our ears like a soft sound and shines faintly on our draining soul's hourglass..moving to and fro...like everything she too must dim as time goes..a dying star. Amy was a light before we all saw how bright she was. A brief glimpse of her flash, a distant memory, dust in the cosmos. We all are everything..she was everything..-CDH
Look at how amazing her talent was, she looks like she didn't even have to try!! Pure raw talent. Sorely missed but still part of my main music in 2018 💛
People, really. Do you always and only listen to Katy Perry? Have you ever listened to a single live recording from legendary singers as Billie Holiday or Janis Joplin? Do you understand what the hell this kind of singing means? If you do not, ok, but please, show some respect, because this was an unique artist. I'd change her with all that mtv garbage any time.
To understand Amy, you have to study Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Dinah Washington, Etta James, Ruth Brown, Merry Clayton -- the screams of despair from the terrible slums of America. To appreciate how deeply Amy had internalised the cries of despair from the slums of America, hear Amy and Paul Weller duet Etta Jones's "Don't Go to Strangers" and "I Heard through the Grapevine".
alnot01 Thank you for your comment, I really like what you wrote. I mean, yeah, to really understand her you have to know the rest of them, period. But I hope you are wrong. That... simply, there are people around born with good taste. Please, forgive my poor english while I try to explain to you a complex thought. I think that each and one of us need an immediate link to any kind of stuff. When you are 12 years old maybe you don't know these legendary singers (...I personally did, don't know how honestly!....I've been very lucky, I guess, not being american, but it was another century. Even Mtv used to speak about good music!). Now, kids are literally surrounded with so much trash and no media is speaking to them about good music, so, if you start listening to an artist like Amy, then she could be your vehicle for good music; kids need something they can really relate to, Dinah, Eta, might be a little bit too far from them in the beginning. I can tell you I didn't understand Billie Holiday when ! was 10 years old, but she became my all time favorite as I grew up. As a child, I naturally discovered good music; and that led me to develop a certain taste in music, past and present. I hope it will be the same for others because mainstream is really shitty these days. When I hear people saying Lady Gaga is "unbelievable" I wonder what would they think hearing a real singer; would shock kill them? Gaga is good, but there's another level, a real one, and, to me, Amy Winehouse was exactly there. She had everything. "Heart and Soul".
KremIsis I came of age in the 1960s, hearing Motown and Aretha on car radios, and Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon on Chess LPs at home. When I first heard and saw Amy, I immediately thought "she is a doomed soul who will not see her 30th birthday." That proved sadly correct.
KremIsis Have you seen the nightmarish slums of America? Have you watched CZcams videos of the disintegration of Detroit? Soul music is the only voice these neighbourhoods and their residents have.
Услышав один раз-невозможно забыть и оторваться!!!! Хочется слушать, слушать и слушать! Она была настоящей, восхитительной, единственной и неповторимой, и безмерно талантливой!
You can tell she was feeling this song! An amazing talent and a gift from God. She was instilled with a gift to help others feel the emotion attached to the words in her songs. Not many times in a lifetime do we get to see such a gift and talent. We miss you Amy may God Bless you.

I first heard this song on a German radio a week ago while driving. I checked out the lyrics and they are simple. The life she has given those lines is incredible.... She was truly an amazing artist..
The most beautiful female artist that has ever sung a tune and don't get me wrong there have been some great girls but Amy has knock them all out of the park xxc
A true "Artist" no one but Amy sounds like Amy. Emotion in her singing is unparalleled by anyone alive or dead, her brutally honest lyrics relatable to everyone. Her sound is always different each time she sings, she said she did this for her fans but also herself, it kept her from getting bored singing the same songs over and over. The most uninteresting aspect of her life was her struggles with alcohol, drugs and bulimia. She had her own sound which she described as jazz/hip hop, she was always leading never following and never compromising her art. She wrote and sang her songs the way she thought people would enjoy them . Her sound is totally addictive, she makes Taylor Swift and Beyonce sound like over processed fast food music. RIP Amy Jade Winehouse.
La mejor sin duda , de acá a la Eternidad su voz es inigualable, tengo 73 años se me eriza la piel cuando la escucho ,lástima que no este entre nosotros estas pérdidas son irremplazables, soy de Argentina🇦🇷
Sad, she was not weak, she was ill prepared, she was surrounded by an incompetent father and junkie boyfriend. She chose the path, they just put her on the escalator. What a tragic waste. One of the best performers and nicest people (time will confirm both) and she just slipped through time like sand through our hands.
+mojoworld1 FINALLY I found someone who said it too. since the very beginning I just knew she was not in good hands with her father. She was so much more than him and he was unable to understand her, to give her warmth and love and understanding she needed. She needed a very mature and talented man instead of her father and that jerk Partner she had. Till today I cry when I hear her. Love. Amy, where are you.
Dinah Andersen It boils down to family greed, industry selfishness and her inability to find her own self. She was a powder keg and a burning star. It was bound to explode and did so tragically. i hope in retrospect the all (family) are ashamed of themselves for not doing more...and here was allot more that could have been done.
Unique, unforgettable and eternal, a voice that will walk on the Universe to forever, love you Amy, love you, unconditionally, but you are the only singer that can get me on my knees.

So effortless, damn I MISS HER
Каждый раз слушаю и плачу под эту песню,до глубины души она поет.
Tenho 69 anos quando ouvi sua voz sem imagem na televisão, fiquei encantada.

As all the tragic 27's she is both immensely gifted and charismatic - RIP Amy Winehouse!
In every video that she sings this song you can tell how emotional she gets. i love when a musician writes about personal feelings. its what makes a song great and relatable and im so glad she had a part on this earth as a great musician/song writer.
❤
My heart broke all over again. We miss you Amy
Amazing...one of the best performances ive seen... Such a loss to our music industry... Gone but NEVER forgotten R.I.P Amy❤
❤❤❤😢
What a powerful performance, Amy sings this with such soul, listening to this and you can feel the pain, what an incredible loss of talent, so sad
So sad that often what drives an artist to greatness is a great melancholy, that great sadness and the passion that goes along with it can be heard in this song a great deal. Such a tragedy that the great ones are driven to greatness by this great darkness but it is also what makes them live short lives as well.
So true
Well said.

Worded very well ❤️
Well articulated.
Как звездочка, вспыхнула и погасла, спасибо, что была в этом мире и показала свой талант.
Almost 13 years later and her spirit and voice live on. RIP angel ❤ every time she sang live it sounded a bit different so it’s like getting to hear a new version when you stumble across a different performance. I hope she’s up there singing with Tony Bennet having the best time and putting on a show for the heavens
Amy came from other time visit us during a short time! She was gorgeous! Thanks Amy, we love you!
all of her live performance videos give me chills. regardless of her life choices, she was never afraid to pour out her emotions. she always relives the memories that led to each song when she performs them.
No two versions she sang of this song were the same. Her artistry and voice were unmatched. ❤❤❤
I miss her. Amazing woman.
She put feelings in every word... You really could see the gorgeous mess she was in her eyes... rest in piece, amy! You were always a godess.

Sorely missed but still part of my main music in 2018 💛
I can hear her voice a million time, she would give me goose bumps every single time
Even the wailing bits are in tune, and perfectly, and beautifully unique.
Raw and beautiful. We miss you so much Amy.
People, really. Do you always and only listen to Katy Perry? Have you ever listened to a single live recording from legendary singers as Billie Holiday or Janis Joplin? Do you understand what the hell this kind of singing means? If you do not, ok, but please, show some respect, because this was an unique artist. I'd change her with all that mtv garbage any time.
ooohhh Billie Holiday LOVE LOVE LOVE

I came of age in the 1960s, hearing Motown and Aretha on car radios, and Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon on Chess LPs at home.
When I first heard and saw Amy, I immediately thought "she is a doomed soul who will not see her 30th birthday." That proved sadly correct.

Have you seen the nightmarish slums of America? Have you watched CZcams videos of the disintegration of Detroit? Soul music is the only voice these neighbourhoods and their residents have.
One of the most amazing women persons I’ve had the privilege to watch,Amy is so up there with Debbie Harry and Etta James, love them all xxx
She was the most soulful vocalist, I miss her so much...
You can tell she was feeling this song! An amazing talent and a gift from God. She was instilled with a gift to help others feel the emotion attached to the words in her songs. Not many times in a lifetime do we get to see such a gift and talent. We miss you Amy may God Bless you.
Como me alegra ver que pasan los años y seguimos amando a Amy , siempre estará con nosotros 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Une étoile filante est passée

Can you imagine how many more hits she could have made? Such a huge lost of raw talent! R.I.P. Amy
almost five years since my favorite artist has passed away and its still so hard to comprehend that she is not here with us anymore..we love you Amy
God I miss her
She is one of the greatest singers .. miss you!
I first heard this song on a German radio a week ago while driving. I checked out the lyrics and they are simple. The life she has given those lines is incredible.... She was truly an amazing artist..
I love you Amy. Miss your amazing style and soulful voice. Rest in peace Bella
You were such a fire - vocal range & soul beyond compare. The world misses your voice.
The most beautiful female artist that has ever sung a tune and don't get me wrong there have been some great girls but Amy has knock them all out of the park xxc
I really truly hope that wherever your soul is resting Amy, you are finally in peace
She always looked nervous and scared on stage, she never realized how beautiful and talented she was. RIP
Actually you're so right about everything. It's all so damn TRUE.
Indeed. Very sad. Still so many families like that. And the drama of the gifted child.
She did not want to sell her soul. So she was sacrificed. Ther were things she said and witness accounts the night she died.
one of the best live voices I've ever heard amazing performance
So Original & Sadley missed ❤️ 🎸The Music lives on! like so many others gone 2soon! 🙏🏽God Bless! ✨Ami 🇬🇧
Unique, unforgettable and eternal, a voice that will walk on the Universe to forever, love you Amy, love you, unconditionally, but you are the only singer that can get me on my knees.
