    Whoever's mom this is, is sooooo lucky to be eating her food everyday but then again we are also so lucky she is sharing her recipes with us. I made her Japchae recipe the other week and my family was obsessed with it. I'm not Asian and I was afraid to attempt it but she did the recipe ingredients and proportions perfectly and it tasted just like the restaurant. My husband is Chinese and loves Korean food and he loved the japchae. I feel happy watching her and she seems so nice. I'm so glad I found her!

    Thank you so much for these videos! I'm Native American and my husband is a regular white guy, but his aunt is Korean (She lives several states over or I would watch and help her cook to learn... she was happy to tell me how she made her kimchi when I asked). He grew up eating her cooking so I've been learning a few dishes. My husband is so happy to have a little taste of home. He says the taste is right and like he remembers. I'm so happy!!

    OMG, I tried dish #1 because I had the ingredients and let me tell you, it was delicious, sorry, I meant DELICIOUS!! I wish to try the others, however, I will have to make a variation of those staple ingredients. I love Asian food, the seasonings and spices use. Thank you for a wonderful twist on plain spinach.

    I've been making this recipe from your site for years! It's great to see you making all the variations. I was able to visit Korea in 2003 and I am still in love. I have to adapt recipes because I am gluten free and do not eat meat, but there is a small Korean grocery store not too far away that I can get ingredients from. Please keep making videos. You are fantastic!

    나물에 주인은 나물향이 주인공입니다.
    참기름, 후추, 깨,마늘 등 나물향을 다 덮을듯합니다.
    시금치향이 거의 안날듯.
    나물은 그 철에 자라는 풀의 향을 섭취하는거라 향신료를 절제가 중요하다고 생각합니다.

    Hello! What’s the difference between soup soy sauce and regular soy sauce?

    • @koreanbapsang6835
      @koreanbapsang6835  Před 2 lety

      Soup soy sauce (called guk ganjang 국간장, or Joseon ganjang 조선간장) is Korean traditional soy sauce which is made as a byproduct of doenjang (Korean fermented soybean paste). As the name suggests, it's most commonly used in soups and stews, but also used to season vegetables. Compared to regular types of soy sauce, it's lighter in color but much saltier and has a strong, unique flavor. It's an absolute staple in Korean cooking!
