No joke - this is one of the funniest MWC episodes EVER. Saw this in re-runs on weekday afternoons so many times in the 90s. Now, it could never air on prime time network TV. 🤦♂️
Husbands'* Love season 3. Peg is a savage. Plus, one of Al's lines "What do old women and dog doody have in common?" joke may have offended Terry Rakolta
To me, this episode is when MWC hit its peak. Everything that was building up for over two seasons now reached perfection. It would remain on this level until season six, when it went off the rails because of Katey's tragedy. It was still good after that, but not this good.
💯 S3 was the beginning of MWC's peak that ended during S6. You pretty much can't go wrong watching any episode from that era. Almost every episode is a winner 🏆 👍.
Al should just cut all of his hair off every year or two. That's what I do. It might be a bit too short for a while, but eventually it looks okay. Not worth worrying about, really. 😎
4:14 what do women n dog duty have in common joke that he remembers to this day he mentioned in an interview.also they showed what happens to men who simp like steve until he left marcy.
We have to suffer through all the whiny "This could never air today" comments under every MWC video, haven't we? They wanted to cancel this show back then several times, too.
Yes, but the couple haters brought the show more fame and viewers. Founders of Fox send flowers to one feminist and thanked her for bringing more publicity than million dollars.

The stuff with Steve is really funny. No wonder he wanted to escape married life, from what we see here.

What Marcy doesn't know is that Steve's mom is the beneficiary of his life insurance policy.

Hmm I wonder why Steve would want to leave such a sweet and trustworthy gal like Marcy?...
