She's sooooo spot on on the careers for African children, I was picked to be the doctor in my family
Ain't no joke. These parents impossible to impress. I'm Jamaican my mother was like "You will be a nurse" I did my high school job experience in a nursing home and decided...not a rass. Now...I work in customer service for a global company. Basically tech support. I get paid more than a nurse for less hours, more benefits. My jobs gets me life and health insurance, bonuses and free grocery....its money they top up each month. Some people use it for bills or whatever. My mom doesn't see that at all "You should have been a nurse! I taught you to wash white well" 🤐🤐 She still sends me her grocery list at the exact day the work card is topped up though...without fail.

Lover ❤ her and her mon is priceless🎉 When i went home to Jamaica and then later visited Afrika, they all asked me what I do and I said I was a licensed aircraft mechanic. They all said what is that, do you mean you are an aircraft engineer. 😅 I couldn’t convince them that in America if you fix things, even an airplane you are considered a mechanic and if you build things you are called an engineer. They were all like I think you really fix the trucks that load and push the airplane 👏🏿🤣 You see in Black Countries and Europe as well, Fixing Airplanes Is equivalent to working for NASA. So whoever wanted the job had to get an engineering degree, to even touch the tires of the aircraft.
