Supplies
Paracord Length: 30 FT of 550 Paracord, 12 FT of 550 Paracord, and 11 FT of 550 Paracord.
Tools: Fid, Knotters Tool, Hemostats. If you don't have a knotters tool or hemostats, a good substitute is Needle Nose Pliers, and Using your FID.
Jig: To make this style Monkey's Fist, you have to have a Jig of some sort. Here's the link to the one I used: www.amazon.com...
Carabiner: In this video I used an S - Biner. Any type of ring, Carabiner, or S - Biner will be sufficient.

Cord Color: Acid Purple, and Black With Acid Purple.

Try not to get it all the way tight on the first time around, take your time pulling a little harder each time.

I need someone to reply and explain what is happening. I made over 50 monkey fists. The problem is, NONE have 11 passes. I have the exact ball and a jig that is perfectly fit on the ball, exactly like all youtube videos with an 8 ball. NONE of my fists can fit 11 passes. In your video, at 4:19 , you have a perfect 11 passes. HOW ??? I can barely squeez the 10th pass. I bought every kind of paracord, from the cheapest to the expensivest and NONE can make an 11 pass monkey fist. Who can please explain ???

Are the rods on your Jig long enough? If they are, try making each pass a little tighter, keeping tension on each of them.

Which color is the 30 ft length?

Sorry I'm just now seeing this. The 30 ft is the black with acid purple. Which is the one I'm wrapping around the monkeys fist.
