Yesterday we had another big surprise.
As well as the new Episodes a secret Exotic mission was dropped for the much talked about Exotic Class items.
These exotics are nuts as they combine two perks from existing exotics to create one unique one
Really worth getting
So here is my complete guide from finding the Secret Wish Keepers of Savathuun to running the entire mission and bagging yourself one of these nifty exotics!

Great video👍🏻🥃, but I feel destiny has to make missions like these playable for solo players ,make us able to get weapons,armour a solo way , not everyone has friends that play destiny as much as we all do.
Yes, it is what it is but, it shouldn’t. Denying a vast percentage of your (Destiny 2) user/player base who purchased entry to this final instalment of the franchise is disrespectful, to put it mildly. To those who choose to enjoy the game solo, or with disabilities or unable to dedicate more than a few hours to play. Specially considering the item/s are an intrinsic element of, the very hyped, new subclass, which as mentioned, you must purchase for the privilege and ability to have access to. The point is not whether to LFG or not LFG. The principal remains unchanged regardless. But, thank you for such complete walkthrough of this mission. At least I know now what is like. Thanks again.
I can appreciate what you are saying. A LOT of people are cheesed off at this mission - I think it will be impossible for it to be a solo mission because of the design.
Excellent guide video, with taking the time with explanation for each section. Way better than some of the other content creators videos on it, they just want to speed run through it.

I am in my 70's and have played Destiny for 10 years and don't often play with other players because of the toxic players in this game. Maybe Bungie have no interest in players that play solo, l haven't purchased anything in game for cash for a very long time and l have no intention of doing so.

Yeah waited a while for this and it just a load of shyt really. Stupid puzzles non explaining missions that is just ratarded. Meh. Story line just annoyed me with constant cut screens and gay npc conversations kinda weak

i will never get this done. i play solo only a couple times a week for an hour or so for fun. i am missing so many exotic armour pieces lmao. great guide as usual.

Just FYI, Overthrow missions MUST be completed in a fireteam of at least 2 people. I ran multiple Overthrows to level 4 solo and nothing happened until I got in a fireteam. Completed the first Overthrow with 3 people in the team and the last 2 Overthrows with 2 people and the quest to unlock the Exotic mission progresses with either a 2 or 3 man fireteam. The restriction for a 2-man fireteam doesn't go into effect until you start the actual Exotic mission.

Me and my buddy did this today, fun and difficult. Only part we had to look up was toward the very end when both bosses are shielded.

no doubt. they should just say this has become a fireteam required game.. my schedule is so erratic I only play solo and matchmaking stuff
Just finished this last night with my son - having to work out the mechanic together. What a blast - got ophidains and the shock wave rift perks. Not bad!
On the clock puzzle the 1st time you see it we used 1 through 9 then in boss room we used it like a clock
Does it unlock for your other 2 characters titan and hunter or do you have to do the quest and mission all over again ?

Also - when calling out numbers on the first clock, as light I called out every number I had, the dark person then knew which ones crossed over with his and called out the three numbers that matched (eg, 2,4,7). Made it heaps easy. That way who ever had the buff could shoot the nodes.
Personally as a solo I'd be fine with this mission if:
a) it wasn't such an important exotic, or
b) there was any other way to unlock the random drops.
As it is, without those this mission stops being a fun challenge and becomes a giant roadblock. Destiny is at its best when it gives players freedom to play the way they want, and this mission is in direct opposition to that.
Jeez. I'm a solo Guardian, I will never be able to do all this alone. Too bad.

Also the bit where I have to go out of my way to get to the dark plate, if id have turned around the platform was behind me
Do you know if you have to complete the “duel destiny “ quest before the class item spawns in chests in the pale heart?
@@Rikky-fz6nhyes. you have to complete dual destiny for each respective character for the exotic to be added to world drops for that character. once the quest is unlocked it can be accessed by any character
My secret wizards kept not spawning in and I did the first 2 and I couldn’t get the last one to spawn. Do I have to do it all over again now?
Do you have to beat all 3 witch in overthough in 1 sitting to get it to sporn

Good video and make me think its too much effort and far too much time that I don't have to get it. Especially if you add in all the activities needed to trigger off the exitic mission.
I'm a solo player who doesn't mind using the fireteam finder to join up with other players but this? No, it looks like too much hassle and too time consuming.
What I like about destiny is the ability to dip in and out while stuff in the real world needs to be done.
Good to know I don't have to do the blooming overthrow again, just 2 to go to unlock
You could probably do Vow Of the Disciple. You've seen most of all the symbols now because of this mission. Get some of those awesome weapons for beating the gits. 😅

You have to do all three of them in one go, no fast traveling either even when you fully complete the runs and kill the wizards you have to travel ALL THE WAY back to the beginning

Not correct, you can do them separately. I matchmade for the first Overthrow with a 3-man team, left that team, joined a clanmate, and then did the other two after and got the Exotic mission to unlock. You can also fast travel from one zone to another.

Do the Secret Keepers not spawn for anyone else? I haven't gotten a single one.
I feel a bit fatigued this season - activities seem to take forever - as you kill one boss theres always 3 more - and they are all shielded - complain, complain, complain
I have sever PTSD from trying to be a good man, for trying to help others so to EVERYONE saying "Just LFG", you are spitting in the face of people who served. Like y'all are bulletproof right? EVEYTHING IS EASY FOR YOU RIGHT? Wrong, you struggle and I bet most of YOUR struggles are a day in the sunshine for me.. Bungie messed up and left out solo players who CANNNOT LFG.. You know like military and 1st responders..

I’m 52 I’ve got pretty bad anxiety after dying 3 times in the operating theatre after a bad motorcycle accident, I struggle with strangers and phone calls but I love this game but I’ve always been solo “ I’ve tried joining clans but couldn’t cope with it “ I obviously couldn’t understand what you went through but I understand how hard it can be pal

Additionally, for those that have or can get discord. Aztecross, Mactics, and a bunch of the big streamers have LFG rooms with loads of people willing to help solo/first timers complete this.

I loved the campaign as most players did. Im seeing all these new quests and missions popping up on all the streamers guides & feeling constantly FOMO. I haven't even had a chance to test new prismatic builds or try all the new weapons while feeling pressure to grind the light level up. These forced to play LFG missions suck. If its not fun then its not worth it. I'm finding the game a bit bloated & overwhelming at the moment.
There is loads to and that can feel really overwhelming
bungie has turned destiny 2 into a fireteam required game.. screw the solo players, we will NEVER get any good loot.. I'm ok with making stuff more difficult, but I like the idea of having the game difficulty set by fireteam number.. make it difficult for solo, but doable, but don't put all these stupid puzzle games in destiny..its not a good look.

I'm surprised the devs didn't ask you to perform open heart surgery while riding a bicycle backwards. D2 is becoming less of a fun fast paced shooter and more of a mindlessly boring mechanics grind each passing season. Also did any dev notice most of the player base plays solo. So far final shape is a big fat YAWN ! ZzzzzzzzzzzzZ :-(

This is so annoying!!! They locked the highly advertised class items, that are vital for prismatic, behind such a crazy, timed, High-coordination requiring raid-like mission, when the vast majority of players loathe these mechanics. Major f-up by Bungie. I'm questioning my preorder now.
The people who complain about the mechanics are the people who can't do them
